Just a few months ago you noticed something strange with your close friend, Saori. He started being harsh and cold, always trying to push you away which was a surprise as he usually clings to you all the time being the timid boy he is.

■ A few weeks ago■

"Saori-kun!" You called as you ran up to him, huffing from the effort of running as he didn't stop on his tracks even if you called him a million times.

"School isn't over yet! You can't just walk out!" You scolded him. He sighed in annoyance and glared at you as he started to turn his back from you. "Hey! Don't look back on me when I'm trying to talk to you!" You grabbed his shoulder trying to get him to face you again.

He growled as he slapped your hand away. "Don't touch me, you humans are so annoying" he hissed as your brows furrowed in confusion.

"Since when have you started calling me human? You're one too ya know!" You sassed making him roll his eyes at you.

"Saori, what the hell is going on with you!?" You yelled. "Why are you so distant? Why are you so cold? Why are you so...different?" You started to feel tears flow from your eyes as you looked at him in the eye, seeing that it is slightly widened.

"I can see why this little boy has taken a liking to a human like you.." he smirks as your eyes widen. "But so much as it is..." he stated as he grabbed your chin making you flinch a bit, his smirk still evident on his face.

"You're a pain to deal with," Saori chuckled lightly.

Thats when it hit you as you made a conclusion.

"Y-you...." you started to back away from him feeling as if he is a threat.

"You're not Saori... are you?" You gasped as his eyes evilly looked in your (E/C) colored eyes.

"Maybe so, maybe not" he chuckled evilly as he walked out of the school gate. You were frozen in place as you saw his fading figure get smaller until it was out of your sight.

■ Present Day ■

You and a your friends joined the U20 tournament. You only joined as you knew Saori would be there and you're going to bring him back. No matter the cost.

You ran through the Acient Castle's hallways. You stopped dead on your tracks as the watch on your wrist notified that your teammate was defeated by Saori.

"Oh no...," you gasped and ran to where they were, calling your teammate with your watch.

"Biya! I need you to tell me where you are. Now!" You yelled through the communicator.

"Oh you mean me? Or do you mean Saori?" She teased making you blush. "Not the time, Biya!" You hissed as you hear her giggle.

"He went out, he's probably by the East Wing already." You thanked her and turned off the communicator seeing as you were already by the east wing.

You stopped as you spotted the ginger-haired male walking ahead of you.

"Fuchidake Saori of team Diffrider!" He turned to face you, taking off his headphones.

"I challange you!" He threw his headphones to the side and groaned in annoyance.

~After the Card fight~

Placing your final damage on the damage zone, you let out a heavy sigh as the card didn't have a little green sign on upper part of it.

"And here I thought you were gonna put up a fight" he laughed. "Guess I was wrong. Humans are so weak" he added as he started to leave.

You ran up to him, gripping his wrist making him look at you. "Let go of me human.." he growled.

"Give him back to me.." you cried. "Please give him back to me!" You fell on your knees crying your poor little heart out. "Saori-kun just come back....please.."

"You're too dependent on him, human. It's pathetic." He grabbed his wrist away from your hand and walked away... like he did that day, leaving you a crying mess.

"Please Saori-kun.... come back" 

Lol finally made a slightly longer chapter! XD  Saori was a very interesting character to write and I kinda like his Deffrided version a little more ^^

Me: w-what!? Of course I like you more! UwU *hugs him*
