Chapter 1: Surprise surprise!

Dark's POV

I am walking in a dark street. How ironic. I was named Dark and I observed that I always end my day with something... dark? Kaasar!

I really hate this feeling right now. I felt like being followed. Yeah, I am not just your sweet, clever girl, I still got sharp senses. Nagpasundo nalang dapat ako kay Thunder or Cloud. I shouldn't walk in this street. Kung hindi ba naman dahil sa magaling kong kaibigang si Light. Now, I should walk in an ally. But this feeling still won't go. Mas lumalala pa ito. I look at my shoulders but gound nothing... or should I say no one. My walking pace became faster.

Hindi ako pwede umatake. Hindi pa kasi siya umaatake. You should not fight back without any attack. If that mystery follower won't do anything, I won't do anything. Pero hindi lang yun ganun kadali. Kasi kung hindi sya susugod baka gusto nya lang malaman kung saan ako nakatira or something. So, I walk in a darker ally. Nakakakita naman ako ng maayos sa dilim. I walk and walk until I got home. Buo parin naman ako.

The feeling vanished when I was already near the house. But when I put the key in the keyhole and open it, I felt that I am not alone. Hindi yung sinusundan ako, pero yung pakiramdam na may kasama ako. Sa loob ng bahay. I walk slowly.

Pumunta ako sa sala. I know that there is something that gonna happen. So, I ready my bag. Just in case. Ako lang kasi ang mag-isang nakatira dito sa bahay ko. I opened the switch and...

"SURPRISE!"

What the?!

I just look at them, wide eyed. Yeah, them. The boys are holdding a banner that says, "CONGRATULATIONS DARK!"

At ngayon tulala parin ako.

"Uy, Darky," tawag sa akin ni... ugh!

"I told you, do not call me with that!" I exclaimed. Tumawa lang ba naman.

"Tualala ka kasi, girl!" Rain said. I just rolled my eyes. Yeah, my great friends are here.

"Wait, what are you doing here?" I ask.

"Ay, bingi lang D? Kakasabi nga lang diba, surprise?" pamimilosopo ni Storm. I just arched an eyebrow up.

"Tsaka, di pa ba obvious ang nakasulat?" dagdag ni Light.

"Sige lang, salita pa. Ipaalam ko lang sa inyo na bahay ko ang tinutungan nyo!" pagbabanta ko.

"Hehe, joke lan yun bespren," Light said sheepishly. Nakakapagtaka, hindi naman sila mahilig sa ganito. At hindi na bago ang manalo ako sa mga academic competetions. Anong meron?

"Ano naman ang pumasok sa kokote nyo at ganyan ang trip nyo?" I said. Trying hard pa sa pagtataray. Syempre nama, na-a-appreciate ko ang mga ganyan nila. Kasi pag nagcecelebrate kami ng ganito, sa labas lang kami kumakain.

"Have you been on accident and bumped your head? Duh. Hindi basta-basta ang napalanunan mo," Bliz said back. A good way to greet me, friend.

"Yeah, c'mon! You won in national ang got in international," nahahawaan na din ang singkit na ito kay Storm. Dapat talaga pagbawalan lahat ng lalapit kay Storm, nakakahawa eh!

"So we should party!" Cloud said as he put his fist in the air. At batok ang abot nya sa kanila. Ang kulit talaga nila. "Celebrate pala. Sorry naman." pagbabawi ni Cloud.

My lips curved into a smile. "Thank you guys!" I said and we pulled each other in a group hug. Nakakatuwa talaga pag may ganito kang barkada. After the hug I just look at them. They give me the 'What?' look.

"Kasama ba sa plano nyo ang pagsunod sa akin?" I ask curiously. Malay nyo. They just look at each other and shook there heads. I look at them confused then my eyes becaem wide and my jaw was drop on the floor.

At dahil sa mga loko sila, pinatawanan ba daw naman ako.

"Wahaha! That was epic!" Thunder is now laughing so hard he was clutching his stomach.

"Para kang nakakita ng multo!" Storm was pounding on the table.

"Grabe ang ganda mo nang ganun!" Cloud said pinching my cheeks. Agh!

"Akala ko sisigaw ka na!" Even Rain was joining!

"You really believed it?!" Bliz was trying to hold her laugh but bursted into fits of laughter.

"Di ka na talaga mabiro, bespren!" Light garbbed my head and rubbed his knuckles at my head.

At ayun na, kanya kanyang comment. Kainis ha! Tapos, tawa na sila ng tawa.

"Sino nga sabi?!" I asked. Nakakaasar na ha.

Tapos lumapit sa akin si Light at inakbayaan ako. Aba, nakangisi ang loko.

"Wag kang mag-alala, bespren, lagi lang naman kami dito para protektahan ka," mapang-asar na sambit nya.

Siniko ko sya sa tagiliran, "Aw!" Buti nga sayo!

"Lagot ka 'tol, kakatapos lang nyan pumunta sa taekwando class." pagbibiro ni Cloud. Tiningnan ko sya ng masama.

"Sorry na, bespren. Ako lang naman din yun. Nautusan lang." he said, while clutching his side.

"Bakit naman?" I asked. He was about to answer me, when my phone rings. I look at the caller's ID, then a smile played on my lips.

"Hello?"

[Oh why, hello to you too,]

"Whatever Zy," I said, jokingly. "So, what's with the call now?" I added.

[I was about to greet you this afternoon, but I had review. I just wanna say congratulations.]

"Oh thanks! Same to you."

[Huh? Why would that be? You're the champion, remember?]

"Yeah, but you got the third place, remember?" I mock him. I heard him chuckled on the other line.

[Oh right. Could I talk to you anytime?]

"Of course. Anytime."

[Okay, G'night love. Dream of me.]

"G'night. And of course, I will." then, I ended the call. I look at my phone with his picture. He's really a cutie.

"Who was that?" Light asked with a big frown in his face.

"My friend during the competition." I said. Then someone snatched my phone. "Hey!"

"He doesn't look like one," Bliz said.At lahat na sila ay nakatingin na sa phone ko.

"He's a French. An exchange student of their school." I explained. Do I really have to?

"Okay, just make sure he's harmless," Bliz said, seriously. I just smiled and nodded. Kahit na ganun kami ma-asaran, we still care for each other.

We just enjoy the rest of the night. Kain lang kami ng kain. Dito na din sila natulog sa bahay. Abuso talaga. Haay...

"Guys, what do you think will happen tomorrow?" Thunder said, out of blue. Naglatag lang kami ng sleeping bags sa attic. Yeah you read it right. Ganito ang trip namin kapag dito sila natutulog sa bahay.

We just look at him weirdly. Tapos umupo sya sa pagkakahiga. "Guys, don't tell me, you forgot it?" he said trailing a bit at the end. I can't think of anything. He sighed and answer the questions in our heads. "It's our first day in Senior tomorrow,"

Then we all sat up and said in unison,"Oh, shoot!"
