"Hello?" I greeted her trying to sound casual and cheerful.

"Ella! I just came back from the lake house and I went on twitter to find a picture of you and Harry Styles, what the hell is going on?" she screamed.

Great, just when I thought my life couldn't get any worse. "Look Delilah..." I was saying until she interrupted me.

"Have you been crying?" she asked worriedly.

"It's such a long story Delilah..." I mumbled hoping she'd accept the fact I didn't want to talk about it.

"And I found out your uncle is part of management! Why didn't you ever tell me, I thought we were best friends?" she questioned.

"We are Delilah, I didn't know about it either and now I'm stuck living with them. Not that they're bad or anything" I explained.

"AAAAH! You like them?" she squealed.

"Yeah they're great people, not music-wise though" I admitted.

"So do you and Harry have anything going on?" she asked curiously and I let out a sigh. "Ok, ok, I won't question anything" she said. I heard someone calling her name in the distance and she quickly said she needed to go before hanging up.

Well that didn't go so bad, she was actually understanding. Weird. I put my phone back in my pocket and continued to admire the sound of waves collapsing onto each other. I decided to walk onto the nearby dock and sit there instead, dangling my feet in the crystal clear salty water. I guess I was deep in thought admiring the view when someone sat beside me. Surprised, I glanced to my side to see Harry beside me. His beautiful curly locks were hidden underneath a pale green beanie, he looked like perfection, wait, pretend I didn't say that. I quickly turned my head and continued to act like he wasn't there. "Ella, babe..." he managed to say and I could feel his eyes looking at me.

"Don't call me that!" I snapped rudely.

"Ok, I'm sorry. Can I please just talk to you?" he asked politely.

"No" I replied sternly.

"Please? Just a couple minutes?" he questioned and I couldn't reject him any longer. It broke my heart to see him so miserable.

"Fine, you have 3 minutes. That's all" I mumbled.

"Thanks love!" he said excitedly and I turned around to give him a death glare for calling me his "love", if he had loved me he wouldn't have made out with that Bethany bitch.

"Look, that night when I went to get some beer I was in the kitchen and I felt someone's hands on my waist. I swear I thought it was you but instead it was Bethany, she tried to get me to kiss her thinking I was completely drunk but I reminded her you were my girlfriend" he explained nervously.

"Oh really? Is that why you were making out with her?" I said sarcastically taking in a big breath.

"No, I didn't. Love, she was all over me and when you walked in I had my hands on her waist because I was pushing her away." he explained and my heart sank immediately. I turned my face to look him in the eye, I searched for his emerald green eyes for an answer and I believed him when I saw the tears forming in his eyes. It felt like my heart leaped into my throat, I held back my tears and I scooted closer to him before wrapping my arms around his torso. He held me close and kissed my neck as we just sat there on the dock, not saying a word but melting into eachother. I felt safe and comfortable, like it was a dream that I never wanted to wake up from. The fears, the worries, the heartache had all vanished and they had been replaced with butterflies in my stomach. How I had missed breathing in his beautiful scent.
