"Oh my gosh! YES!" I exclaimed, jumping up to give him a hug. Hugging him was like the best thing in the entire world, I felt like I gained reassurance that everything was going to be okay as I pulled away from the hug before my uncle was nearly suffocated by five incredibly wild boys hugging him (or should I say jumping him). Delilah and I couldn't help but let out a quiet chuckle as they collapsed on the floor and my uncle tried getting back up. I wish I could explain how funny they all looked.
That day seemed to pass by very slowly. Nobody was really in the mood to fool around so we had a quiet dinner as my uncle explained how his trip to Australia was. Listening to his stories honestly made me feel better instantly, he never failed to put a smile on my face and I loved him for that.
"I'll be in my room" I said as I got up from the couch after supper, "I'll come with you" Harry said as he grabbed my hand, completely forgetting the fact that my uncle was with us. I quickly turned around and gave him a warning glare that he quickly understood as he let go of my hand and blushed.
"Ummm..." I tried to say something to make the situation less awkward but my uncle Paul quickly interrupted saying "How long have you two been going out?"
"A couple days after you left" Harry explained and I felt kind of embarrassed to look at his reaction but to my surprise my uncle grinned before saying "Break her heart and I'll break your back" with a wink.
I held back my laugh but the boys had already started laughing like fools as Harry gave each of them a death glare. "We'll be upstairs" I said as I grabbed his hand and saved him from anymore embarrassment.
"Well that went better than expected" I exclaimed before hopping onto my bed and staring at the ceiling.
"Yeah except he'll break my back if I break your heart" he joked sarcastically as he plopped himself beside me, staring at the ceiling.
It was a comfortable silence until he finally ended it by saying "I don't want to say goodbye to you Ella." Instantly I felt a lump in my throat but I forced myself to act strong and not make a scene crying again.
"I don't want to say goodbye to you either" I admitted as I turned my head to gaze into his green eyes.
"Well then we better make the best of your last two days he said before jumping up and throwing every pillow on my bed at me.
"Oh no you didn't!" I screamed as I jumped up onto the bed and chased him around the room throwing pillows at him.
"Your aim is terrible!" he teased as he ran onto the balcony. I ran as fast as I could and cornered him so he had no escape, but I couldn't bring myself to throw a pillow at him, instead I admired his perfect curly hair, his perfect lips, his shining green eyes. "What? You're not going to fight back?" he winked as he placed his hands around my hips.
"Nope!" I joked as he leaned in for a kiss and I immediately ducked, making him look like a complete fool. "Look who's the loser now!" I screamed before running into my room with him chasing after me.
"You just missed the best kiss of your life" Harry shrugged as he leaned against the wall.
"I doubt that" I teased him as I searched my drawers for my pajamas.
"Your loss" he said acting incredibly sad.
"Oh pleeease! You know how much I love you!" I said squeezing his cheeks before closing the bathroom door behind me and changing into my pajamas.
When I was done, he was nowhere in sight but instead of searching for him I crawled into my bed and stared at the ceiling thinking of the past day, not realizing the door had creaked open.
"Pssssst" Harry whispered in the dark and I held my laughter as I turned on my nightlamp allowing the room to light up. "Someone's looking beautiful" he said before nearly jumping on me as he got quite comfortable. That was another one of the things I loved about him, he made me feel great about myself and constantly reminded me that I was beautiful.
"You're looking great yourself" I added as I cuddled up closer to him, staring at his contagious smile and smiling foolishly. I couldn't resist the urge so I placed my lips on his sweet lips and kissed him passionately.
"That definitely made up for the kiss you didn't give me on the balcony" he joked as he pulled me closer and we dozed off to sleep in eachother's arms.
