"Lo siento mucho, Casey."

Two weeks of debating whether I should or should not forgive Benito had passed. Together with Felícia I had made a pro and con list on why I should text him. There were roughly five pros and literally only one con. It was 'I really like him' against 'He lied to me' and I was still of two minds about forgiving him. On the one hand, I missed everything from the random memes we would send each other over the hour long FaceTime calls we had had to the way he made me feel, on the other hand, I didn't know if I should ever trust him again. "Okay, let's go through this again. You like him, you miss him, but still you refuse to give it a chance." Cia summed up, after the firth time we had gone over the list. "Yes, no, I don't know." I sighed frustrated. "What do you think?" I then asked her, after five minutes of not saying anything. "Honestly, I think, you should text him. I can kind of understand where he's coming from, plus I've never seen you as happy as you were when he was around." Cia said honestly, pushing the list away from her. I groaned in frustration again and closed my eyes. While I put my head onto the kitchen table, she pulled out her phone. "He has a show at a club here in LA tonight." she informed me after a couple of minutes. She had my attention now. "Which club?" I asked, without even thinking about it. "Uh, The Conga Room." she answered slowly. "Are there tickets left?" I wanted to know. "No, but you can still get inside like the other normal guests." she said, putting her phone down. I nodded and thought about it for a second. "Okay, we'll go and try to get in." I informed her. "Instead of trying to get in, you could just simply text him and tell him that you're gonna be there." she replied, shrugging. Sighing, I pulled my phone out and unlocked it. I decided that it was better if I just called him, so I went through my contacts, until his name popped up. Hesitatingly, I clicked on the call icon. "¿Hola?" Benito answered after a few seconds. "Hey, Benito." I quietly said. "Casey! How are you?" he sounded happy that I called. "I'm good, what about you? Listen, I need to talk to you which is why Cia and I will be at your show tonight." I quickly said. "Could be better, to be honest. Oh, really! That's great! I'll make sure that you guys get in, you know, put you on the guest list. Hold on!" he then said happily. Then I heard him yell something in Spanish and a muffled answer from another voice. "Yeah, my manager put you guys on the guest list." he informed me shortly after that. "Uh, that was not necessary, but thank you. I'll see you tonight then." I said, before saying goodbye and hanging up. Felícia looked at me with a satisfied smirk on her face.

10.00pm. We were standing in front of the club, waiting to get to the bouncer. When we reached the tall guy, he asked for our tickets. "We're on the guest list." I informed him, smiling. "Names?" he replied rather bored. "Casey Andrews and Felícia Garcia." I said. He nodded and let us get past him. It was packed inside and I immediately started to feel uncomfortable as always, when I was surrounded by a lot of people. "Let's go to the bar and find a seat, I doubt that you'll be able to talk to him before the show." Cia suggested, linking arms with me. I agreed and followed her to one of the two bars. We had a good look at the little stage that was set up, but we were far away from the crowd that was forming. Five minutes before the show started, I received a text message.

Conejo🐰: Meet me at the backstage door next to the main bar after the show.

With every minute that passed by, I got more nervous; it kind of reminded me of the night I had met him. When Benito came on stage, the crowd went wild. Though, I didn't understand a single word that he rapping up there, I kind of liked his music. It was different and actually suited him. Seeing him do what he loved - you could tell that he did by the huge smile he had on his face -, made me like him even more. I had still been indecisive, but in that moment, I made my decision to give him a chance. Benito looked like he was scanning the audience for me and when he saw me sitting at the bar, he stopped dancing for a second, smiled at me and then continued. Time went by extremely fast and before I knew it, the concert was over. Just like Benito had told me, I went over to the little door next to the main bar. It wasn't long, until it opened and he peaked through it. "I'll let you guys talk. Damon's picking me up. See you at home, Casey. Bye, Benito!" Felícia said, before pulling me into a hug and leaving. I followed Benito through the door into the backstage area. He lead me into a room that looked a lot like the club owner's office. A lot of other people were sitting in the room. As soon as I entered it, the conversations they had died down. I awkwardly stood next to Benito, who smiled at me widely. "Esta es Casey, una amiga mía." he introduced me. I waved at the people that were staring at me and greeted me. "So, what did you want to tell me?" he asked, when everyone was minding their own business again and we had sat down on one of the couches. "I have made a decision." I started. Benito looked at me with an expecting, but also worried look on his face. "You get another chance, but one more lie and I'll be gone." I continued, looking at him. His face lit up and he immediately pulled me into a tight hug. "¡Muchas gracias! Lo siento mucho, Casey. I promise, I won't lie to you again." he whispered as he buried his face in my hair. I couldn't help, but smile uncontrollably. After a couple seconds, we pulled away from the hug. "So, the guys and I were gonna go join the guests in the club." he said, smiling at me. "I'd rather be alone with you." I replied, leaning my head against his shoulder. "Me too." he then mumbled. He grabbed my hand and jumped up from the couch. Without saying a word, I followed him to the back entrance of the club. Benito said goodbye to his friends, before opening the door for me. A black SUV with a security, leaning against it, was waiting for us. "Where are we going?" I asked, when we got into the back of the car. "Are you hungry?" Benito asked. "A little bit and I'm craving Chinese right now." I answered, nodding. "Chinese it is then. I know a cute little restaurant." he said, then turned to his driver and told him something in Spanish.

20 minutes later we pulled up at the parking lot of a restaurant. Benito got out of the car, sprinted around it and opened my door. Laughing a little, I thanked him. He held out his hand for me to take it. Smiling, I took it; he instantly intertwined our fingers. Like a gentleman, he opened every door for me and even pulled the chair out for me. Since it was quite late, we were almost the only people in the restaurant. The food was delicious and I had a great time. "My hotel or your apartment?" Benito asked as we made our way back to the car. "Um, your hotel?" I replied; it was more of a question than an actual answer. He nodded, opened the car door for me and waited for me to get in. When we were both inside, he told his driver to go back to his hotel. I gasped a little bit, when we entered his room. It was huge and looked extremely expensive; it even had a jacuzzi on the terrace. "Well, your life seems to have advantages." I commented, looking around. "Yeah, 24 hours of room service and a lot of privacy in here." he explained. "Groupies in your room?" I joked. "That's the best thing about my life." he answered in all seriousness. Laughing, I grabbed one of the pillows from the couch and through it at him. "Oh, you didn't!" he shouted, before also grabbing a pillow and throwing it at me. He came after me,  while I was running through the room like a little girl.
