A/N: So apparently you can't upload Gifs anymore. I had the perfect Gif for this chapter, but it's not moving, when I put it in the chapter... If anyone knows how I can still upload it, please tell me. I put the music video it was from here to show Benito's reactions. And also there's a lot of Spanish in the chapter.

Benito

A couple of weeks had passed since the release of MIA. I was back in LA, had been for about a week, and I was on the phone with one of my brothers. I told him about that Lucas guy and by the time his name had left my mouth, I was furious. Everything about him annoyed me. The way his blonde hair bounced when he walked, the way his voice sounded, and especially the way he looked at Casey, so to sum it up, I couldn't stand him. "Benito, tranquilízate! Sólo son amigos." Bernie's voice echoed through my bathroom. "Sólo son amigos. ¿Sabes cuántas veces he oído eso antes?" I asked him annoyed. "Sí, y todas tus ex novias engañado en ti, pero Casey es diferente." he answered, sighing. Bernie was the one that she got along with the best, which is why I had only talked to him about that. He could read people like books and he had always sensed it, when one of my ex-girlfriends hadn't been honest. "Sé eso." I replied, sitting down on the edge of my bathtub. "Yo sé que tienes problemas de confianza, pero tienes que confiar en ella." he spoke slowly. I had major trust issues because all of my ex-girlfriends had cheated on me and it was hard for me not to believe that Casey could eventually do the same. So far, it hadn't been a problem since the only people she was hanging out with had been Damon and Cia, but now that Lucas had shown up, all of the bad memories returned. "Sé eso, pero tengo miedo de salir lastimado de nuevo. Mis celos me están matando." I explained to him, sighing. "Verá que todo va a estar bien. Benito, me tengo que ir ahora. ¡Hablamos más tarde!" Bernie said slowly. "¡Vale, saludar a mamá de mí!" I replied, before hanging up.

Shaking my head, I started brushing my teeth. I wanted to pick Casey up from work like I had every day for the past week. She had mentioned that she had wanted to go to the beach, so I wanted to surprise her. Ever since I had met Lucas, I had distanced myself from my girlfriend; I started to push her away from me. I didn't know if she had noticed, but I prayed that she hadn't because I didn't know how to explain it to her. After brushing my teeth, I went into the hallway, put my shoes on and left. The drive to the hospital didn't seem to end; the traffic was so bad that it took me a little longer than expected. When I finally arrived, I quickly got out of the car. I could already see her sitting in the waiting room, with him. My blood was already boiling, but for her I put on a smile and just ignored the urge to punch him in the face. Waving, I greeted Lucas; even though I didn't like him, I still tried to be polite. A smile spread across Casey's face, when she saw me. Immediately, she jumped up from the chair to greet me. I returned the kiss she gave me, then I grabbed her hand and turned around to leave. "Hold on, let me say goodbye." she said, before letting go of my hand and walking over to Lucas. With a tight hug, she said goodbye to him. He tightened the hug, before he let go of her, waved at me and went back to work.

The drive to the beach was silent. I constantly thought about the hug he had given her. The more I thought about it, the more aggressive I got. I was biting the inside of my cheek to somehow control the anger inside of me. Usually, I would have rested my right hand on Casey's thigh, but not this time and she noticed that. "Is everything okay?" she asked after about 20 minutes of driving. "Yeah." I answered shortly. She didn't buy that, I could tell by the way she looked at me. A couple of minutes later, we arrived at the beach. I parked the car near the water and turned the engine off. "You remembered!" Casey exclaimed excited. I nodded in response, fighting the urge to smile at her. It made me happy to see her happy. She immediately attacked me with a kiss on the lips that I returned, but, of course, she had to notice that something was definitely wrong. "Okay, Benito, what's wrong?" she asked, when she broke the kiss. "It's nothing." I answered, turning my head to the left, so I didn't have to look at her. "Do you think, I didn't notice that you're closing yourself up?" she questioned. Even if I hadn't wanted to, I just couldn't hold it in. "Are you cheating on me?" I blurted out, looking at her. "What? No, of course not!" she answered shocked. I had heard this response so many times that it was hard for me not to laugh. "So, you're telling me Lucas is just a friend?" I wanted to know. "Yes!" she replied confidently. "Just friends my ass." I said, letting my jealousy taking control over my thoughts. "Are you serious?" she questioned. I nodded in response, opened the door of the car and got out. My chest felt like a ton was weighing on it and I needed fresh air. Casey followed my actions; she was completely confused. I started walking towards the water, when I felt her, grabbing my arm. "Benito, you can't be serious." she said as she tried to make me stop. Ignoring her, I just kept walking. "Stop pushing me away, Benito!" she called after me, again grabbing my arm. I turned around and gently pushed her away from me; I didn't want to hurt her. And that was the moment that I snapped and started calling her names, very bad names. I'll never forget the hurt in her eyes, when I called her a slut; it was like something had died inside of her the moment the four letters had left my mouth. That was also the moment that I realized that I had fucked it up completely. Suddenly all of the anger had vanished and I immediately started to apologize, but it was too late. Casey raised her hand, signalizing me to shut up, turned around and walked away. Of course, I ran after her, but that was when she snapped. "Casey, wait, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said those things!" I called after her. "You can't take back what you said!" she yelled, turning around. Her voice was cracking and I could tell that she was on the verge of crying. I wanted to say something, but was cut off by her. "I said, I'd fix things instead of replacing them, but honestly I don't think you want this to be fixed." she then said in a normal tone, before brushing the tears away that were running down her cheeks. "I do, I just don't know how to trust. Casey, I'm sorry." I started saying, as I walked up to her. She just shook her head, held her hands up in defense and started walking away from me. I followed her up to the street where she started walking towards the direction we had come from. Only a few seconds later, she stopped a cab that was coming down the road. Apparently, it was free and so she got in. "Fuck!" I yelled, throwing my hands up to my head in despair.
