"Cia, I didn't sleep with him."

A loud crash coming from the kitchen woke me up the next morning. I thought that maybe I was dreaming, but when loud Spanish cursing followed the noise, I knew that Felícia was trying to make herself something to eat. When I moved, Benito's arm slipped down from my waist. He was sound asleep, but groaned and turned around. Smiling, I got out of bed to look after my best friend who was really a very bad cook. Cia was kneeling on the kitchen floor, wiping a puddle of milk. "Good morning!" I greeted her. "Oh, morning. Did I wake you up?" she asked washing the cloth in her hands. "Kinda, but don't worry." I answered, helping her with the pieces of the mug that had fallen down. Shortly after, I was standing in front of the stove, browning some bacon. Felícia was sitting at the kitchen table, drinking a cup of coffee; she was facing me. "Good morning." we heard from behind us. Benito was standing in the door frame; he had already put his clothes back on and looked very much like he was about to leave. Felícia looked at me shocked, but kept her mouth shut. "Morning. Coffee?" I asked, smiling at him. "That's very nice, but sadly I have to leave." he answered, sounding a little disappointed. "Oh, well, then let me bring you to the door." I said surprised. I turned off the stove and placed the pan in front of Cia who was still staring at me in shock. "I'm Benito, by the way." he introduced himself, holding his hand out to her. "Felícia, nice to meet you." she answered quietly as she shook his hand. I gave her a warning look before I followed Benito towards the door. Curiously Cia watched how we were going to say goodbye since you could see the door from the kitchen. "I had a very great time." he started. "Me too, Benito!" I replied, smiling up at him. "I'll hit you up next time I'm in LA." he then said, before pulling me close to him. I nodded in response as I rested my hands on his chest. He leaned in and gave me an extremely long, passionate kiss; then he said goodbye and left.

"What the fuck was that, Casey?" Felícia asked excited, when I entered the kitchen again. "What do you mean?" I counter questioned, smiling to myself. "Wasn't that Mr. Hot Dancer from last night?" she then wanted to know. "Yeah, that was him." I answered her, sitting down at the table. "Wait, did you drag him off?" Cia squealed excited. "No, I didn't. He came over after I brought you home." I said truthfully. "You little bitch! Spill the tea, how big was it?" she exclaimed. That was so typical of her. As my best friend she needed to know every detail. I laughed a little at her question. "I don't know." I admitted, shrugging. "What do you mean, you don't know?" she asked like I was crazy. "Cia, I didn't sleep with him." I said, putting some bacon onto my plate. "Wait, what?" she obviously thought I had had sex with him. "Yeah, we were both way too tired. He's a good kisser though." I told her, before stuffing my mouth with a piece of toast. "So basically if you guys hadn't been so tired, you sure as hell would've fucked." she commented, taking a sip from her cup of coffee. Just the thought of that made me turn red like a tomato.

Later that day, I was laying on the couch, watching some Netflix. Felícia and Damon had gone out on a date, so I had the apartment to myself. I was extremely bored and that's when my mind wandered off to that passionate kiss I had shared with Benito in the morning. He was stuck in my head and something about him was so exciting. No guy has ever made me dance, nor agree to let him stay over after a night at the club. The sound of my ringing phone made me look away from the TV screen. Somebody was calling me on FaceTime. Without looking at the caller ID, I answered the call. "¡Hola, Hermosa!" Benito's voice greeted me. "Oh, hey!" I replied a little surprised because I hadn't expected to hear from him so soon. It looked like he was still on the plane. "I'm so bored and I wish I could keep you company." he said, yawning. "Are you still on your way to Puerto Rico?" I wanted to know, smiling at the screen. "Yeah, only two more hours to go, but I'm excited to see my family again." he informed me, scratching the back of his neck. I nodded, still smiling at him. "I just called because I know, when I'm going to be in LA again." he then added. "And that would be when?" I asked curious. "I need to go back in about three weeks and will stay there for two weeks because of three important meetings." he explained as he stared directly back at me. "Okay." I replied, leaning back onto the couch. "We still have to finish where we stopped last night, bonita." he said slowly, winking at me. I knew exactly what he meant and it made me blush a little. Though I didn't answer, he could tell that I got his hint.

An hour later, I was cuddled up on the couch, still talking to Benito over FaceTime. I was really tired, but I didn't want to hang up because I enjoyed talking to him. We found out that we had a lot in common and all in all, I just enjoyed listening to his voice. Suddenly, a man appeared behind him. He asked him something in Spanish to which Benito replied. "Sorry, my friend just wanted to know who I'm talking to." he apologized, after the man had disappeared again. "And what did you tell him?" I wanted to know. "That you're a girl I met at a club in LA. Are you tired, bonita?" he answered. "Yeah, but I don't mind staying up to talk to you." I said, yawning. "When do you have to get up tomorrow?" he asked, smiling at me. "At ten, my shift starts at 12." I replied. He nodded in response. "I'll let you go to sleep then. It was nice talking to you, Casey! Sleep tight. I'll text you, when I'm at home." he then said, before saying goodbye and then hanging up. I continued to watch TV until I fell asleep on the couch.
