Stripes {on hold}

chapter 3: I can hear!!!

its been about a week i found the nice creature and she took me in by her giant hands. and she even made a little bed for me beside her own big bed. But the thing is, whenever some other creature that kind of looked like her came in to her slanted celing den, she hid me either under one of her big blankets or one of her pillows.  it was strange really, hiding something from other creatures like you. but then again, i was only about a week old, so who was i to judge anyway.

i could finaly waddle  almost a walk! but i still had to stay in the slanted den, i wanted to explore the outside world, to see the world beond the den, there was just that light coming from some of the huge holes in her room. its not that i wanted to go back to my littermates or my mother, i could hardly remember them, and besides the girl creature is my family now ,my reall family, the one who nutured and loved me, the one that cuddled with me when i felt lonly, but its just the pull to the outside world, the curius and adventures mind was taking over, but each time i tried to go to the big clear opening, an invisible force stoped me, it kept me in from the outside world. it kept me from exploring. but this force just kept on stopping me! this was just to FRUSTERATING!!!!!  the creature was down the rock steps for some reason so i couldent ask her to bring me outside. arrgggg i just wanted to scream!!!! then somesthing amazing happened well it also hurt, a big loud noise-and i mean a huge one -  boomed, and shortly after a flash of blinding light...wait, did i just say i herd a big, loud,  fur raising noise?! I CAN HEAR!!!!!??? YAAAY!!!! i am sooo happy!

just then there was another white flash of blinding light and shortly after another boom of the loud, loud noise. i backed away from the clear opening and to my bed and waited for the creatures arrival. then she burst into the room and came down on her bed, looked at me, then cradled me in her big conferting arms, and she spoke. "oh stripes, your probably so scared from the lightning, im sorry its just, mom wanted me down stairs to wash the eggs! ughhh i dont like washing the eggs becuse there gross , and they still have the chicken poop on them, and thats really nasty!"

lightning, Mom,Eggs? and whos stripes?  what was she talking about?  then i mewed asking her what she ment and she just giggled then she pointed at my ears "Stripes, your ears, there pointy!" she exclaimed. "oh i should have known you couldent hear before! ok so let me start from the beggining. your name is stripes, and my name is Aleah, and this is my room, and that realy  bright stuff is lightning, and the loud noise is thunder-there both scary- and a mom is the thing that gives birth to you, and eggs are really stinky and you can eat them, and they come from chickens and chickens...... " she explained pretty much every word in the sentence. and that was the beggining of a new world, and a better frienship, sure we were friends before, but now were more than friends, we were family. Stripes and Aleah best friends for ever!

Authers note: hi  guys how'd you like the chapter, sorry if i was a little late on this chapter, by almost a full week, i had to do a book assignment for my mom (im homeschooled by the way). and also now the kitten has a  name Stripes!!! and HE CAN HEAR!!!! and i was three when i found stripes (or he found me, who knows!) and  suprise they live on a farm, anyway dont forget to vote and comment!!!
