Chloe's P.o.v
it's been a year since that horrible morning, the morning since the runt was carried away by Leo. but the cut in my heart has healed, and is now an old scar. that day was just a dim memory in the back of my head. it doesn't even bother me anymore.
i was in my quiet den, the kittens have just moved out a few weeks ago, and Leo left shortly after he carried out the runt, before he left he said these exact words to me "look, i cant do this anymore... we cant do this anymore." then i asked him "what do you mean Leo?" as tears welled up in my eyes. "i mean.. your not right for me, i cant be a mate to someone who gives birth and care's for runts!" he looked at me straight in the eyes and said that, then walked away, out of the den and into the dark of the night. i almost cried, but i stopped myself, he never cared for me or my kittens i remembered when he carried the runt out of the den to die. the only thing he did was bring mice an other food back. i don't need him! i thought, then i made an important decision. that i would never mate again! it causes to much pain, to much hert. that was the most important decision that i made in my entire life,
tears started to well up in my eyes, 'No' i thought, 'that's in the past now' then i decided to take a walk, to clear my head.
