Mittens p.o.v.
Djinni and i walked through the forest, the moon filtered through the tree's. it was dark, even with my cat night vision. We walked for sometime, then i started hearing the faint screams of coyote's, Djinni broke the silence. "where almost there." he said.
we walked through the coyote's camp, as soon as they saw me they all fell silent and just stared, and i was partly grateful that they stopped. i did not want to be deaf, but i was mostly scared, they where looking at me with hungry eyes. almost like they wanted to eat me.
Djinni led me to a small cave in the middle of the coyote's camp. "this is the alpha's den." he said. "he is our leader." i trembled. what are these creatures gonna do with me? i thought. we walked into the cave, it was pitch black. "Djinni, what a pleasant surprise." said a voice, not sounding happy. "what brings you here? with this...thing?" my eyes started to adjust, and i saw the alpha coyote laying on a rock, vines snakes through the cracks in the ceiling. "i-i'm a cat, actually." i corrected him shyly. "smart one aren't we." said the leader. i didn't say anything back. " anyway, Djinni, thanks for supper, you can go now." The coyote said, I was startled did he just say 'supper'? "W-wait, did you just say 'supper'?!" I said, scared, suddenly I wanted nothing more then to go back to Stripes, to the barn where things where safe. Even if I had to live with that other cat Chloe. I don't care, I just want to get out of here! " wait." Said Djinni, "can we spare her? Just this once? She'll be useful to us.." he said. " and why do you want to spare this..cat?" Asked the leader. "Well, first off..she is very..smart and we could use that around here. And also we can use her for..bait. Yes, for small predators like raccoons or foxes or..um..other small meat eating rodents. And we can use her to gain preys trust, like other cats perhaps?" Said Djinni. Before I could protest, the alpha spoke thoughtful about this idea. " yes, that is a good idea.." my eyes widened, i didn't want to be bait for other creatures! especially other cats! "i suppose we could use her for bait.. that would work quite nicely actually... fine," said the alpha, "bring her to the dungeon until we need her, then put the two most trusted coyote's on guard, i don't want our bait to escape..or be eaten. i'll inform the pack of this newcomer and not to eat her." and with that the alpha walked out of the den, ready to inform the pack of me.
Djinni turned around to face me, "come on FeirceClaw, to the dungeon we go, and if you try to escape then i'll eat you." the friendliness on his face from before was now gone. replacing it was an evil glare. i nodded slightly as he led the way, i followed behind him closely, the other coyotes were staring at me with hungry eyes. i gulped loudly and sped up, so i was very close to Djinni.
he led me to yet another cave. but this one was darker and scarier and smelled of something rotten. i scrunched up my nose in disgust. Djinni stopped. "get in there." he said sternly. i hesitated at the entrance. "i said get in there!" he yelled. then he shoved me forward. i flew inside and hit the wall with my back. i slid to the ground. Ow! that hurt. something poked my fur. i looked at it and screamed, it was the bones of a dead coyote! 'well, that explains the rotting smell.' i thought. i shuddered and prayed, prayed that Stripes will come and rescue me from this retched place. so we could go home again and live happily ever after. oh how i hope i will be rescued soon!

hello!
yes i'm alive, so so sorry i haven't updated since JUNE! i didn't have many idea's what will happen next and my summer has been PACKED. my writer's block has been terrible. please forgive me. i need more idea's of what should happen.. please give me some. my memories are faint, all i know is Mittens has been gone for like a week, and Stripes and Chloe have been missing the day after. that happened for a while and i was sad. i need idea's please for the next chapter!
