"Isn't it that time of the month?"
Zippy asks me over the phone on Friday morning. Seven am to be particular.
Alex left and a note too, those were the first two things I noticed when I woke up. It felt like a one night stand or something like that where the guy leaves before you wake up and leaves a note too. It also felt sweet, waking up to a note. So I guess we should only focus on the positive things in life.
"Yeah," I reply turning to the comfortable side of my bed, or so I thought.
Zippy is literally my period tracker app. She says that she knows I'm always on my period because I'm too boring to have a pregnancy scare.
"Anything you want to share?" She asks to which I reply no.
Whatever her question means, what could I possibly have to share? Oh yeah, my period pains. I would most definitely love sharing that.
"Well, since you're not telling me..." she starts, but I cut her off by hanging up.
No hard feelings, I'm just really searching for my period blood and a very comfortable spot on this bed because the pain is too much.My phone starts ringing again and it's Zippy. I am obviously not picking up that call because I've got to pick up other more important things. Like my pillows which have just fallen off my bed. Gravity, I am so mad at gravity now.
Then I just felt it. Like Rafiki from The Lion King whispering in my ear that "it is time,".
So I rushed into the toilet and sure enough, there was our little red sister.
And this toilet seat is so comfortable, I'm trading my bed for it.
