Bishop’s flashing aquamarines then turned into a sharp black before shining bright white as his skin began to change into a pitch black, wings of a fallen angel, his horns twisted, the worst was the screech between a bat and what seem to be a angelically sick bird. Biting into the mans neck blood spewed everywhere as people began to scream and run away from the poor man.
Running I searched for an uncommonly used exit, looking to see the red, bold, EXIT sign by a metal door that people were passing by. I fought through the bodies both fragile and plumped. The echos and screams were then muffled as I shut the door before taking a couple deep breaths as water streamed down my face. Pushing forward I forced myself away from the... the hybrid of whatever that... that creature was. Wasn't until I stumbled into a strong figure who reeked of poison.
Looking I saw the man to be fairly young, no older than nineteen, with a crescent scar slightly right of his left eye. Only my gaze was to his silver eyes with their black slits that held little grey specks in them as his hands gripped my wrists. A guttural growl as he pushed me into the wall as his nose sniffed and I peered over his shoulder to see another human, mostly male, was torn to shreds as his bones held the ground humane beef while his eyeless face shook in terror.
A soft cry escaped my lips as the stranger turned back to see his prey. Before he turned maliciously as he softly hushed as his lips brushed against my trembling skin. Wasn't until another set of footsteps were heading down, ferocious and determined as I was cast to the ground. Glancing to see the stranger in front of me stare down a black-eyed Bishop.
"Oh Prince Saris. How such a fancy seeing you again." The stranger curtly started.
"Oh Roberto. See your still a savage who kills men and conquering women as trophy wives." Bishop growls as he stepped closer.
"You referring the time you couldn't protect your half-sister your mother had with her personal guardian?" Roberto sneered, "The one who had chosen a werewolf as her soulmate, who gave birth to your half-nephew and died. Missing her funeral as others cried for her beautiful lost as-"
Before Roberto could finish his sentence Bishop moved in a quick of a flash to squeeze his neck as there sounded a pop and crimson spilled. A scream escape my lips as I ran past the corpse, blood spatters on my dress and hair before the body was dropped and footsteps echoed in a whoosh. As I then look to my left to see the EXIT sign, rushing to the door handle I open the door letting the door close on it’s own accordingly while being drenched in the pouring rain.
Though when you run from the devil’s creation they seem to have an instinct to find you, no matter where you happen to be. My left hand felt a warm, sparkful grasp as he then pressed me against the wall where the tears streamed along with the rain fall. My heart started hammering hard against his iron chest where my gaze went up to see his black, glistening eyes while my trembling wet skin stood in his wrath. Bishop was stiff and tightening his grip until a whimper escapes my lips, though continuing until my fingertips brush against his cheeks.
His eyes return to their normal, aquamarines and his broad hands loosen their grips before being placed around my hips. Wrapping my arms I laid my head and cried into his chest as his left hand rubbed my back, just existing in his warm, loving barrier from the pouring rain. I pulled back once I was ready to see his face and then looking up into the rain and seeing my mother’s frowning face before her smile returned with a nod, almost saying go find your happiness, Bree. My eyes landed on his sad, sad aquamarine hues that were glistening before I took those soft lips crashing with my own.
