"Bree," Bishop's voice pleaded through the door, "Bree please come out. You haven't done anything in four days."

"I could care less why I'm alive, why I even exist." I croak as I laid against the door, "I'm nothing, nothing I could even give to make a truce. My father will disown me and then put the blame on you."

"You know that he wouldn't, Bree. Snap out of it!" Bishop's voice rose, "Give me that woman who knew how to be tough, that would never let her sister down or any harm come to her."

My crying stopped and I realize that I had to keep trying, if not for myself then for Catarina. Opening the door a crack and looking into those aquamarines with that cheshire smile that turned into a bright grin. Using my hand to dry my tears off, I take a few deep breathes to then see he was still there.

He chuckle before joking lightly, "Are you going to wait around all day or do you want to spend time with a winning-smile fellow?"

I started bursting into laughter as the door opened before the gust of air breezed underneath my feet. Snuggling close my heart felt light patters of joy, until I felt no sparks not even the tinest jolt. quivering lips returned and tears formed again bursting down my face.

"Hey, don't cry Bree." Bishop softly whispered before adding in an excited tone, "You want to know why?"

"Why?" I croaked before sniffles.

"Because you are a beautiful, confident, loving, and most stubborn woman I ever found to fall for." He starts softly before smiling and continuing, " I would never trade you for any other woman or life to miss the life I want to live with you."

A light smile came upon my face before giving him a look, "You know you're not getting out of this easy."

"Now there's the girl who'd kick my ass." Bishop nervously said before adding a light chuckle.

"You want to know something else too?" I added in a sarcastic tone.

"Yes?"

"Get out and let me change, Bip!"

After a few hours of getting pampered for our 'first' actual date, Bishop drove from the estate to a quaint little diner. The diner wasn't much except the version seemed to be a 60's look with the classical red, black, and white colors. Wasn't long we entered to be lead to a private booth, his cheshire smile full of pride as his hand guided my back.

"I'm assuming we're not here just for fun." I whispered sourfully.

"No, we are." Bishop said before teasing, "You're just being tense in your smart, beautiful head."

Softly sighing I shake my head before a waiter came over, he took our orders before rushing away to get everything. Out of the blue my ears picked up on a song that wouldn't be in your classical 1960's resturant, looking back to Bishop he mocked a surender. Shortly I could hear that the song was "I'll Try" by my favorite artist, Jesse McCartney who stood where the previous bands performed.

Looking at Bishop, he offered his hand in a dance. My hands stood solid frozen as the rest of the room stared at us, most smiling while others glared, before my left hand was placed in his.  Almost as if he could force the entire world out, even for the tinest miliseconds the world was nothing but blurred with my eyes staring intently at him.

I'm too tired to listen
I'm too old to believe
All these childish stories
There is no such thing as faith
And trust and pixie dust

I try
But it's so hard to believe
I try
But I can't see what you see
I try, I try, I try...

Shortly Bishop's voice sang along as he moved closer to do a slow dance. My head landed gently on his chest as his heartbeat was loud and to the beat of the song. Soon the tears began to pour and my heart felt the seems once hiding everything I kept locked came rushing through rivers of blood.

'Cause I try
But it's so hard to believe
I try
But I can't see where you see
I try, I try

I try and try to understand
The distance in between
The love I feel and the things I fear
And every single dream

I tried seeing past Bishop's shoulder at the glint of sliver being point at him. I saw that smile and the beating of my heart rushed. I heard the click and before he could turn I pushed him aside. In the next moment I fell hard to the ground with the screams echoing the room.
