"Please remember that your lab reports are due next Wednesday! Do not push this off until last minute, you will be regretful of your decision!" My forensics teacher preached.
"Do you want to do the report together?" Kennedy asked me.
"If Dr. Messer allows it, then sure..." I reply.
She chuckles as the bell rings and heads towards Dr. Messer's desk. I laugh to myself as I pack my belongs up and approach the exit door. Kennedy and I have been friends and dorm buddies since our freshmen year of college. I met her at the orientation tour, back when she was an early high school graduate entering the 9th grade at the age of seventeen. At this point, most of the school thought we were sisters, and that's what call each other. When I reached Kennedy, Dr. Messer nodded her head saying, "that's fine" and Kennedy and I thanked her before leaving her room.
"So where do you want to go for break?" I question.
"I'm really craving some Popeyes!"
"Alright, but by the time we get back our break will be halfway through." I remind her and she shrugs.
"We've only got one more class after break, that's fine."
We both hopped in her car, me in the driver's seat, and her in the passenger's. I drive her car on most occasions cause she's a big baby and likes to be pampered 99% of the time. After 10 minutes we arrived at our favorite Popeyes, the only one in the area that gave student discounts on Fridays. By the time we arrived at the school, we only had a few minutes to eat whatever we could.
"Are you still down to go to tonight's Freak Block?" I ask her, as I take a sip of my Sprite.
"I don't really know. I did want to go before, but now that I'm really thinking about it. I don't know." She says sitting back into her seat.
"We'll all I know is that you better come, cause you're the one that persuaded me to change my mind last week."
"Okay, but you can't force me!" She snapped back.
"Why are you snapping at me? You know I was just playing." I say, getting irritated.
"Okay, but you know I don't play like that. You know it makes me stressed out." She claims, rolling her eyes at me.
"Alright, then don't go," I say checking the time and packing my things, seeing that our break shift was about to end.
"Like I said, I'm still thinking about it." She says in a calmer voice. I simply reply by nodding my head, before telling her I had to get to class.
Soon I was in my last period of the day. Depths of Child Development. This was my second favorite class cause all five of babies were in here. We've been taken this class since the summer of last year. Amina, Brianne, Ashley, and Sierra, we all failed the summer course together, and had to retake the full course again this year...together, so we're close close.
"Hey, beech!" Ashley said loudly reaching out to me for a hug as I approached our table. I greeted everyone one by one with a hug.
"What are we doing today?"
"We're taking notes at the end of class, she's giving us an hour free." Sierra answers and I nodded.
"Are you okay?" Brianne asks me and I answered honestly with a no.
"What's wrong?" She questions.
"Yeah who do we need to run up on?" Ashley adds, causing me to laugh.
