2 hours passed and the girls and I were still at the mall. We had watched a movie and came to eat at the food court.

"We should definitely go watch another movie, maybe a scary one." Ashley says.

"I agree!" Amina cheers

And I simply shook my head. After nearly spending an hour to eat, we finally agreeded to go watch The Conjuring 3.

But Ashley's fat self decided to order an additional platter of chicken tenders, and of course Sierra decided to join her in consuming the plate.

With Brianne in the restroom, Amina and I decided to go get a spot in the ticket line while we waited on Sierra and Ashley to finish eating.

"Can I talk to you real quick? I kind of need your opinion on something." I say to Amina quietly.

"What's up?"

"Between you and me...uh.... Quincy called me today and basically asked me if I wanted to -"

"Go." She simply said.

"Wait, I barely even finished my sentence, how'd you know?"

"I knew where it was going" she smirked ", say yes and just give this boy a chance already! I think he'll be good for you." She said smirking.

I tried go hide my smile.

"By the way I'm the one that sent him your number.

Before I could say anything, the rest of the girls came up to us, and we were next in line. Amina paid for all our tickets and we made our way into the theater and if course Ashley decided to go buy us some snacks.

"Didn't we all just eat?" Brianne questions.

"The movie is two and a half hours... you want me to die of terror AND hunger?" Ashley argues and Brianne rolls her eyes in annoyance.

The rest of the girls and I naturally stood in a circle and began to complain about how fat Ashley was. That is, before she interrupted our conference by calling our names. We all turned around.

"Guys this is Kashmir!"

We all greeted him in unison, approaching the both of them.

"Kash these are my sisters Amina, Brianne, Nickeya and Sierra!" She announces.

"Nice to meet you ladies." He replies with a friendly smile.

As Ashley continues to tell us a bit more about Kash and their current relationship, I notice that be keeps glancing over at me. That's when I realize that I've met him before.

"Wait, wait, wait." I say, squinting at him. "I think we've met?"

"I knew you looked familiar. I thought I was tripping!" He says with relief.

"Nicki, you didnt tell me that you knew Kash?" Ashley questions cocking her head to the side with a smile.

"Nah, it's not like we know each other like that." He mentions.

"Yeah, we just crossed paths at Kohl's... it's a weird story."

"Yea..." Kash says scratching the back of his head awkwardly.

"I wanna hear the story." Ashley says.

"Are you gonna buy your damn snacks or what? The movie probably already started!" Sierra snaps, highly annoyed.

"Oh shoot! You know what you guys go ahead, I'll just bring it." Ashley replies.

"Are you sure?" I ask and Sierra snatches my wrist and drags me behind her.
