Y'all I'm a little upset, this month has been a bit rocky in a sense, but I promised myself I'd publish chapter 20 in March, so 20 is coming out tonight. HOWEVER, it is INCOMPLETE and FULL OF ERRORS!!! *my notes are literally still at the bottom*
-
But I don't want to leave y'all hanging. Sorry y'all 💔😣. I feel so bad for being sloppy. See y'all later this year or next year. But no time soon y'all. I will be revising the older chapters and completing this one eventually, so hang tight... xx*UPDATE: This Chapter is now complete! [Jan. 2, 22]
Quincy wasn't playing when he said I had ten minutes to get tf up and back out into the rink. When my ten minutes were up, he started putting my skates on for me. He got up and went to go say hi to Amina, Ashley, Jay, Tyrese, and Sierra one by one. I admired his respect and manners. It made him more attractive.
Afterward, he came to pull my unwilling ass into the rink. Two seconds after rolling in, the MC told everyone to get out of the rink for the speed skaters. I rolled out the rink with pleasure. So did everyone else that couldn't skate fast enough.
"Even though you guys have already met, this is my friend Quincy. Quincy, these are my friends." I smile.
I noticed he smiled at me with some pride before smiling at everyone else and greeting them again.
Everyone exchanged a few words and a casual conversation begun. It seemed like everyone liked Quincy except for Tyrese. He was clearly unimpressed and kept a straight face while everyone was interacting and laughing. I studied him longer and noticed that he didn't bother to talk to Quincy... but maybe I was reading too much into it.
It was time to get back on the rink.
After watching me Quincy was able to figure out what I was doing wrong and helped me fix my posture and skating technique. I noticed a big difference and got the hang of it pretty fast.
I decided to go skate with Amina and Sierra and see how they were doing. I noticed that they had been distancing themselves from Ashley and Brianne.
"Y'all okay?" I asked them and they looked at me with a little shock.
"Is Quincy a skating instructor or something, cause your skating way better than you were a few minutes ago," Sierra asks, causing me to laugh.
"We're good." Amina smiles and Sierra rolls her eyes.
"She's lying, she's not fine, Ashley was making some slick comments earlier when we were trying to group skate. I had to change the topic and take Amina with me. That's why we've been keeping our distance.
"For real?" I ask shocked and confused.
I didn't even peep that...
"Yeah! I don't know how much longer she can hold herself together." Sierra says to me, with genuine concern.
"If yall have to go, don't hesitate. I'm not going to force you to stay in a toxic environment." I reply, honest.
"Noooo, I'm leaving when we are all ready to bounce, they aren't going to push me out. Plus I can see that you and Quincy are really vibing. He must have grown up skating... look." Amina gestures.
