Percy's POV

"I give up. Kill me if you want, just please let her go." Lissa had said, shoulders slumped down and fatigue evident in her eyes. I smiled evilly as I threw Evangelista to the floor and grabbed Lissa, disregarding Eden's screams. "You know, you did this to yourself." I chuckled as I smiled to the sound of her blood pumping through her heart. I could smell her fear as if it were a perfume and it really smelt so good, so sweet... just the way revenge should be served."

You should have just left Evangelista and me alone. Why did you have to intrude by visiting her dreams?" I asked as I felt her shift under my grip. I ignored it, knowing there was no way she could possibly get away from me now. Not to mention that I felt so thirsty and didn't feel like waiting anymore. I leaned over and moved toward her throat, fangs bared.

Lissa's POV

I cringed as he threw Evangelista to the floor next to where Rose lay unconscious. Eden had screamed and ran to her side where she had collapsed onto her knees. He suddenly grabbed me, causing me to gasp, and easily pulled me towards him. I noticed while he spoke that his voice was cold and so scary that it sent a shiver down my spine whenever he spoke.

"You know you did this to yourself." He had said. I hated the evilness in his laugh and I knew he could sense my evident fear. As he continued to talk, I shifted and reached into my pocket to grip the smooth cold silver of a stake. I pulled it out and hit it behind me, making sure to have it ready if needed. Even though I was shifting and moving, he didn't seem to notice despite my obvious movements in position.

Either way, as he leaned down towards my throat with his fangs already out, I swallowed as I almost dropped the stake, managing to catch it and quickly place it against his chest before driving it through his chest, and into his heart. I quickly let go and fell out of his grip as he began to writhe in pain, leaving me watching the sight in horror.
