Dianne
"Ok so that there as you could probably guess seen as he has already spoken to you is Joe" Stacey told me pointing at Joe
"Yeah"
"Then there is Neil, Aj, Lauren, Kevin, Caspar, Josh, Jack, Conor, Oli, Mickey..... Oh and him over there is Byron he doesn't talk much"
"Great lots of names to learn"
Everyone erupted into laughter
"Yeah I guess so, don't worry you should fit right in" Stacey reassured me
I sat down next to Stacey and we all started to talk, by the end of lunch I pretty much knew who everyone was and their personalities and hobbies, this day doesn't seem to be going to bad.

RING

"Hey Dianne what lesson have you got"
Stacey asked me
"I'm not sure"
"Here pass me your timetable... Looks like you have one of your options"
"I'm confused"
"So when you started you got to pick two subjects the first for you was dance obviously cause of you scholarship, but it looks like you have that last so what was the other one you picked"
"I only picked dance, I will go to the office and see where to go, thanks Stacey I will see you later"
"Ok bye Dianne"
I went straight to the office as I knew I didn't get another option to choose, I was so confused
"Hello miss Smith have you got a moment"
"Of course Dianne was it?"
"Yes"
"What is it?"
"Well I'm not sure where to go as my timetable says to go to my second option but I only picked dance"
"Ahh yes Dianne I remember now, you for our school are important as you are the only student who only has one option we decided that for your last two lessons everyday which for every student is there two options, you will have double dance, however you first hour will be for just you and the second will be with everyone else who choose dance"
"Oh ok I get it now"
"So just head to the changing rooms and you will be in dance from now until the end of school"
"Ok thank you so much for your help"
"No worries Dianne if you need help, I'm here to help"
I walked out of the office and walked as fast as I could to the changing rooms and got changed, I was so excited, two solid hours of dance everyday this was exactly what I wanted. The first hour of my lesson was amazing I started to go over a solo I was working on until I saw a few people start to walk in, I guessed it was the rest of the dance students. After a few minutes I heard shouting coming from outside the Hall, I turned to look outside and I saw Joe along with a teacher who was dressed in runners, I guessed he must have been a pe teacher.

Joe

"But sir please"
"No Joseph, I already told you for you to take pe you must at least take one month of dance, everyone else did it at the end of last year so they didn't have to this year, you are no acception"
"I do not understand why I have to take dance to take pe it just doesn't make sense Mr Walsh"
"Dance helps with your core, and coordination along with a lot of other things these are all good for pe"
"But sir I play rugby, I don't dance"
"Well you either take dance or you find another option"
"Ughhhh fine"

Dianne

Joe walked into the dance hall and sat in the corner, there was only three other boys in this class, luckily I already knew who they was so I walked up and said hi.
"Hi guys I didn't know you all took dance"
"I guess we must have forgotten to mention it earlier" Aj said
"Any idea what's wrong with Joe" I asked the boys
"Coach says to him he can't continue rugby until he does a month of dance" Neil told me looking at the floor
I walked over to Joe and sat next to him,
"Hay joe"
"Oh hi Dianne, I forgot you was in this class"
"Yep everyday double infact... Hay Joe"
"Yeah"
"Dance isn't that bad and it could be worst you could have none of your friends in the class and be the only boy"
"I guess that's true" He looked up at me and his gorgeous blue eyes locked with mine.
"Ok class you need to partner up, boy girl pairs you may pick your own partners" Our teacher said to us
"Wanna be my partner I'm a good teacher I swear" I giggled slightly
"I would love to be partners with you, but I doubt you'll be able to teach me anything"
We both burst into laughter
"Well I can at least try to"

A 30 minutes later

"That's it Joe, you got it"
"Wait really?"
"Yeah, ok now let's just go over the routine one more time just to make sure we remember it"
"Well you probably will"
"You never know you might nail it, and I might forget it"
"I doubt it"
We ran through our dance it was perfect. We decided on an American smooth as it's a ballroom and no body else was doing a ballroom.
"I did it"
"See Joe I told you"
"Ok class let's regroup for the last 5 minutes then you can go"

After class

"Hay Dianne"
"Yeah"
"Thanks"
"What for"
"For talking to me earlier, I actually feel a lot better about having to take dance for a month, it doesn't seem to bad"
"I knew you would, most guys just say that they won't do it, but when you actually try it you end up liking it"
"Oh also... "
"Yeah"
"... Our group is coming back to mine for a little bit today do you want to come"
"What time"
"Most of us our going straight after final registration which is in 15 minutes, but you can meet us back at mine if you need to"
"I will check with my dad but I would love to"
"Ok great, well I will leave you to get changed for registration"
"Oh Joe, how do I know how to get to yours or to like tell you whether I'm coming"
Joe hands me a piece of paper
"That's my number message me if you are going and I will send my address"
"Ok thank you"
"No problem"
We both walked off to the separate changing rooms. After final registration I messaged my dad.

Dianne - hay dad I just finished school for today
Dad - ok dot I'm waiting outside for you
Dianne - thanks dad see you in a minute

As I walked out to the car park I saw my dad standing by the car waiting for me, I ran over to him I was so excited to tell him about my day.
"Woah, hay there pumpkin are you ok"
"I'm amazing dad, I had such a great day"
"Did you make any friends yet"
"Actually I did, a big group of them and they have invited me to meet up with them for a bit, I said I would check with you first but can I go"
"Of course dot just tell me the address and I will take you"
"Let me check"

Dianne - hay Joe turns out I can come, where do I go
Joe - that's great Dianne, here you go *insert address*
Dianne - ok thanks Joe, see you there

I put the address into the maps on my phone and my dad drove me to Joe's house.
Joe walked out of his house
"Hay you made it"
"Hay Joe"
"Dot"
"Yes dad?"
"Who's that boy?"
"He's one of my new friends from school, I'm guessing the others are inside"
"Ok princess be safe and call me when you are ready to come home"
"Will do dad, bye"
"Bye, dot"
I closed the car door and my dad drove off
"Ready to go in"
"Yeah"
"Oh... I guess I should tell you this before we go in but turns out its just you, me Byron and my sister"
"Oh ok that's fine"
"Everyone else couldn't make it"
We walked into Joe's house, it was huge like a mansion. It was so well decorated as well.
"Now Joseph who might this be" A young girl said
"This is Dianne, she's new at school and Stacey invited her to our friendship group"
"Hi"
"Hi Dianne, I'm Zoe Joe's older sister"
"Nice to meet you"
"Zo where's byron?"
"In his room why"
"Just wondering"
"Ok, well I'm gunna just go get some snacks from the shops I'll be back in like 10 minutes ok Joseph"
"Ok Zozebo"
They both started laughing and then Zoe grabbed her keys and walked out leaving just me and Joe again.
"Let's go sit down"
"Ok sure... Hay Joe" I begin whilst we made our way to the couch
"Yeah"
"When Zoe said that Byron was in his room, what did she mean"
"Oh right yeah you don't know yet, Byron lives with my family and has done now for nearly 5 years"
"Really, how come"
"His parents live in South Africa so he is an exchange student, usually exchange students only stay for one year but Byron wanted to do the whole of secondary school in England."
"Oh, that's cool"
Just as I said this my phone rung
"Sorry I have to take this"
Joe pointed to a room at the end of the corridor hinting that I could take the call in their, I thanked him stood up and ran to the room answering the call. I burst into tears.
