Date night (part two)

Joe

When we got to the bowling alley we walked over to the front desk and I spoke to the receptionist.
"I have a booking for bowling"
"Under what name sir"
"Sugg"
"Ahh yes, booking for two people"
"That's the one"
"Ok you are going to be in lane 9, can I get your shoe sizes"
"Sure, 7 and a 4"
"Ok I will get you some shoes"
The lady walked off and came back 5 minutes later with some shoes.
"Here you go, enjoy"
"Thank you"
I walked Dianne to lane 9 and we sat down and changed our shoes. I set the nicknames on the scoreboard
Joe - suggy
Dianne - reddo
Dianne giggled at me and said that they were perfect. I kissed her cheek and we started the game. By the end of the game I had won, Dianne didn't seem to care though she actually seemed quite happy. Whilst we was changing back into our shoes we spoke,
"Well done suggy, well played" She winked at me which sent shivers down my spin.
"Thanks reddo, you didn't do to bad yourself"
"Well I scored higher than last time, so I'm actually proud of myself"
"And so you should be, that's a pretty good score"
"Thanks suggy"
"No problem, come on let's go to the arcade"
I grabbed diannes hand and dragged her over to the arcade, I gave her a ten pound note and asked her to put it into the change machine whilst I returned the shoes. She nodded in agreement and I wondered over to the reception. Once I had returned the shoes I walked back over to wear Dianne was, only to see a tall dark haired guy flirting with her. I felt something inside me drop, the pit of my stomach felt very heavy. I was so confused I had never felt this feeling before. After a few seconds it registered in my head, jealousy. I walked over to Dianne and put my arm over her shoulder,
"Sorry I took so long reddo"
"No problem suggy"
"Who's this"
"Well as I tried to tell you before this is my boyfriend, now if you wouldn't mind we have a date that I would like to get back to"
"Very classy, a date in an arcade. Man your cheep"
"Cheep, interesting so you think that the outfit, bowling, arcade and dinner is cheep"
"Oh"
"Yeah oh, do yourself a favour and get lost"
The man ran off back to two other guys. The guys both laughed at him and the all walked out of the building. Twats.

Dianne

When Joe left to go put the shoes away I went to the change machine. As I was taking the money out I felt a hand tap my shoulder, I knew it wasn't Joe as the hand was to hard and forceful. I turned round to see a tall dark hair guy,
"Hey"
"Hello, can I help you"
"Well I just saw you out of the corner of my eye and I couldn't help but come over"
"Sorry but I'm kinda here with someone"
"I'm sure your friend wont mind me getting your number, plus I don't see anyone"
"I'm pretty sure my BOYfriend will mind and that's because he's just returning our shoes"
"I love your hair, such a nice colour ya know"
"I don't want to sound rude but could you go, please. I'm trying to have a nice time here"
"You can have a nice time with me"
I felt a familiar arm wrap around my shoulder and I instantly relaxed.
"Sorry I took so long reddo"
"No problem suggy"
Thank god Joe came back, I don't know how much more of that I could take.
Once the guy had finally left me and Joe started to play different arcade games, like basketball, air hockey, coin machines. Joe basically won at everything but I didn't care, I was having so much fun just getting to spend time with him. Plus the higher score he got the more tickets we recieved meaning we could get a better prize at the end. Once we had got all our tickets we went over to the stall which had the prizes, we put our tickets into the machine that counts them and then gave the number of tickets to the lady at the stall. We decided to get matching keyrings, they had a fluffy emoji on the end of it which was the love heart eyes one. Before we left the bowling alley Joe took my hand and walked me over to one of the claw machines it took him a few attempts but he managed to win me a teddy bear. It wasn't until we took the bear out of the machine that we realised that it was a kangaroo,
"I'm gunna call him Joey, cause he's a baby kangaroo"
Joe smiled at me, we joint hands immediately interlocking our fingers and walked out of the bowling alley. I had no clue where we were going for dinner, all I knew was that I was so happy that Joe had done this for me. This was already the best date of my life and it's not even finished yet, and that was all because of Joe. Man I love that boy, I really do.
