Joe

It had been a full week since I found out what was wrong with amber. She had been tested for anxiety and it was confirmed by a doctor as well as PTSD. She was now on two lots of medication, one which she has to take in the morning with her breakfast for her anxiety, and the other which she had to take before she went to bed for her PTSD. The therapist told me to not tell amber what the medication was for, he just told me to tell her that it would help. He said that if she knew what the technical names of what she was going through she might freak out and panic. Everyone has agreed that we will tell amber everything when she is ready, when she is older and she asks us. She's only 9 years old and what she is going through is a lot for me to take in let alone her. I have been spending more nights at diannes house, mostly because not only do I love spending time with dianne but amber seems to trust me more than anyone else. So when she wakes up during the night which doesn't happen as often now she always asks whoever she is with for me. Both dianne and mark have baby monitors in there rooms and they both are connected to one in ambers room. They did this so that if she wakes up crying they will here it and can go and check on her.
When I told dianne what the therapist told me she broke down in tears, I rubbed her back and cuddled her into me. We both didn't understand how someone so young could have these issues, both me and dianne have anxiety but neither of us have had to be put on medication to control it. Due to what amber had said to the therapist about Natasha and Tami he got a restraining order for amber against them. He also got one put in place for me and dianne as he knew that we have had issues with them and as we both look after amber he wanted to make sure we was all comfortable and safe. Thank god. Zoe also went to the school and reported Tami for bullying and stalking, she was expelled for 2 weeks.
It breaks my heart when I see amber crying and shaking when she wakes up from a nightmare, she is literally like my little sister and I would do anything to take away the pain she is going through.
The school have been informed about her situation and so has mine and diannes school and so usually when she has therapist appointments, I'm allowed to leave school at 2, pick up amber at 2:10 and then we go to the therapists office and have our appointment at 2:30 until 3. We then walk to my school and pick up dianne before going to pick up Austin.
Austin was confused for the first few days about what was happening with amber, we explained to him that she was having some bad nightmares and so she was speaking to someone who is helping her to stop having them. He kind of understands now and he is actually really helpful now. He even will wake up and try to help her calm down when she wakes up crying. To ensure that Austin felt like he was being treated equally to amber I made sure that I played football with him everyday after school. On the way home we would stop at the park for about an hour and we played football whilst the girls played on the swings.
I loved this so much.

This definitely is not the best chapter I've written but it's just a small filler chapter to get out the things about amber. Because the story has been focused on her for a while I'm gunna do a really super long Joanne one next, hope your ready for it cause it's gunna be cute and full of Joanne fluff.

Also I do apologize that it has been a while since I last updated, I had to go on a course for 4 days and the course work was literally so time consuming.

Another thing thank you all so much for over 2000 reads that is actually nuts.
