Date night (part three)

We were walking to the restaurant that I had booked for dinner. It wasnt an extremely fancy restaurant so the casual clothes I bought us were ok for us to where there, but it was still a very nice high quality restaurant. I've been wanting to take Dianne here for ages, literally since I met her. It has little booths so you are sectioned off from other people, meaning you can still have privacy. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we walked up to the front desk and waited for someone to come over, about 2 minutes later a small lady came over to us.
(The lady - L)
L"Hello, how may I help you
J"Hi, I have a reservation for two
L"Under what name sir
J"Sugg"
L"Ahh yes, right this way"
The woman walked me and Dianne to a booth in the far corner, it wasn't busy at all today which meant that it wouldn't take long to be served. We looked through the menus and a tall male came over to the table. He kept starting at Dianne, but she never took her eyes off me once. He spoke to Dianne ignoring that I was there.
(The guy - W)
W"Hello, I'm Dylan I'm going to be your waiter today. Are you ready to order yet or do you need a few more minutes to decide
J"You ready di"
D"All ready suggy"
J"Ok reddo what would you like"
D"the spaghetti"
J"It's like you read my mind" I turned to face our waiter "two spaghetti Bolognese"
W"And what drinks"
J"One sparkling water and one normal water"
W"Ok I will be back with your drinks"
As he said this he winked at Dianne and walked away, Dianne didn't notice as her eyes we're still glued to me.
J"Babe take a picture it lasts longer"
Dianne cheeks suddenly went a darker red colour, I don't think she realised she was watching me. I took hold of her hand that was resting in the table and I held it gently in mine.
J"I love you so much reddo, I hope you know that"
D"I know you do suggy, and I love you too"
After a few minutes our waiter came back with the drinks, he took one look at our joint hands and rolled his eyes. He put the drinks on the table and stormed off.
D"Whats up with him all of a sudden"
J"Di do you seriously not know"
D"No what"
J"He's been checking you out ever since we sat down, he must have noticed our hands and realised your not available "
D"Too right I'm not available, I've got the best guy on the planet in front of me and I'm not letting go of him for the world" She said whilst smiling at me. I felt my cheeks start to burn, meaning that they had probably gone a very dark red colour. Man I love this girl, she has changed me so much and I love her for that.

After the food had arrived and they were nearly finished there meal

Ok the time has come for me to do what I have been planning to do. The whole reason I set this entire thing up. I hadn't been nervous about it until now, I guess it was now or never.
J"Dianne"
D"Yes Joseph"
J"I have something for you"
D"Oooo what is it"
J"Ok here we go"
D"What"
J"Dianne, ever since I met you my life has changed in the best possible way. I never imagined this would ever happen to me, I fell in love, and it's with the best girl in the entire fucking world. Dianne buswell I love you so much and you make me the happiest guy in the world, and the happiest anyone has ever seen me ever. I'm so happy you decided to take the risk and move to England, because if you hadn't I would have never met you and my life would be shit. I promise you that I will always love you no matter what, I promise that I will stay with you until the day I die, I promise you that no matter what happens in life I will always be by your side, I promise that one day we will get married and move in together and start a family together because I love you Dianne Claire buswell and I always will"
I pulled out a small box that was in diannes bag. I opened it up and took out a small promise ring which had a little infinity sign on it, on the inside I had engraved on it FMDR, which stands for forever my Dancing reddo. I looked into her eyes and I saw tears forming in them.
J"Will you except my promise ring"
Dianne nodded at me, I slipped the ring onto her middle finger and it was the perfect size. Dianne stood up and moved over to the same side of the booth I was on, she sat down practically on my lap and gave me a sweet, caring, loving kiss. I can't believe how lucky I am with Dianne honestly she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. After we had completely finished I payed the bill and we walked out of the restaurant hand in hand, we headed back to my house.
