The next morning, I arise from my peaceful sleep by Hongbin knocking on my door. He peeks his head in, all dressed in his suit for work. "Rise and shine!" He laughs, always waking me up with his bubbly attitude so early in the morning.

I groan, but unable to contain my groggily morning smile. "Good morning."

"Good morning, Jiyeon. I'm leaving now, have a great day! I'll see you later." He comes in to pat my head and leaves in a rush, regardless that he's always early anyway.

"You too." I rub the sleep out of my eyes and watch him leave, deciding I should get up and get ready for work as well. I'm always excited what the word day brings for me though, being able to know about the news all the time is quite interesting to me. That's probably why I love my job so much.

I ascend to my feet, going to the bathroom to do my customary routine. I do my ordinary thing to pick out and put on my outfit for the day and get a small breakfast ready to eat. I grab my purse and exit the apartment with high hopes for the bright day ahead.

The early sunlight feels so refreshing as it hits my skin, I can't help but smile to myself, hoping nobody notices and thinks I'm crazy. I casually walk to work, greeting Leo as he holds the door open for me.

"How was your night, Jiyeon?" He questions as he follows me to our office.

"Really relaxing." I give him a pleasant smile, waving to Kijun who is already sitting down, going through folders. Leo pulls out the chair for me, letting me sit down and we have Mungjae come in to give us the daily news reports for us to write about.

We get to work right away, putting all of our focus into the research and the depth of our words and pictures. We have a few others that sits with us as well to help us out and make sure everything is perfect. It's hard to be so serious sometimes when my coworkers are literally my best friends, but when we here the devastating news, which there are a lot, it's just tragic.

I take a quick break to grab a coffee from the lounge, watching the news station on the television. I don't stay too long, I return to our table briskly with ideas to add to the paper. We go through tons of ads a day, which easily becomes exhausting.

Hours go by of working nonstop, never even getting the chance to look at the clock, we end up skipping lunch. Leo and I walk around the city as a weekly routine. I write down notes as he takes the pictures. We work together, getting ideas for everything we possibly can that could go in the newspaper.

"I'm starving, Leo." I whine playfully, smelling all the wonderful food on the street.

"Me too, want to stop and get something?" He looks at me with a pouty lips, pointing to a nearby fast food restaurant. I nod excitedly, dragging him inside. We both order something and sit down to eat it. We eat rather quickly, scarfing our food down from being so hungry.

I laugh at how fast it took us and I buy something for Kijun as well to take back for her. We head our way back to work, giving Kijun her food. She thanks my kindly. We finish the day by printing all of the pictures out that Leo and Mungjae picked and I show my ideas to the boss, letting him pick what he wants.

I say goodbye to everybody and head home. It was a good hard working day, I feel like we accomplished a lot and got quite a bit done. I get home and greet Hongbin, kicking off my shoes with a happy sigh.

"Hey Jiyeon. Change your clothes, we are going to the basketball court. I'm going to chill with some friends." He chuckles, wearing black floppy shorts, a white T-shirt, and sneakers.

"Why do I have to go?" I look at him in confusion, but I laugh. "You always take me with you everywhere you go. Just hang out with your friends."

"Come on, it'll be fun." He insists, smiling his cheesy smile at me.
