"Don't be sorry, Ken. It's my fault." I sniffle, soaking his shirt with my tears for a few seconds that I stop myself from sobbing like a little baby. "He'll be fine." I state and hug him back. "I'm sorry for that happening." I apologize sympathetically.

"Not like you asked him to." Ken chuckles and cups my cheeks, kissing my forehead with soft applicable lips.

"If you want to go, I understand." I whisper softly, filled with shyness and regret. Suddenly, his phone starts to ring. Ken looks at the screen and its that Don guy again, but Ken rejects it. I don't mean to be nosey, but I really begin to wonder.

"Let's just get some rest for tonight, we'll continue another day, what do you say, beautiful?" Ken smiles down at me, his eyes look urgent, but also a hint of softness.

"I'm free anytime after work." I smile back at him very gently, closing my eyes as we kiss our separate ways. We both wave as he walks down the hall, away from my apartment. "goodnight!" I speak aloud and blow him a kiss. He pretends to catch it in his hand and wishes me goodnight as well. I slowly start to close my door after watching him disappear and begin thinking to myself.

I pace around for a little while, thinking that it couldn't happen, Leo wouldn't do that. 'Oh yes he would.' My conscious sasses to me and I quickly run downstairs out of my apartment and outside under the street lighting.

I turn my head and see Leo and Ken having each other in a choke hold. I gasp and run over to them. "Stop it! Let go!" I shout, tugging on their shirts.

"Get back, Jiyeon!" Leo barks at me and collides his knuckles to Ken's cheek, only making me hear a loud painful grunt and watching their shadows brawl.

"Don't!" I scream in agony. "Don't hurt him!" I try to pound my fists against Leo's back, but it's no use. Ken begins to fight back, stronger, faster. Ken lifts Leo up off of him and tosses him against the building, making Leo collapse to the ground. Leo wails out, only getting angrier. People scatter away from the fight, staying as far away as possible and not getting involved. The enraged fight between the two only escalates. Ken forcefully kicks Leo around on the sidewalk and Leo crawling away to get up and tackle Ken against the wall, landing multiple punches.

"Stop it!! Ken! Leo! Please!!" I cry out, the tears flooding my cheeks. Ken's lip starts to bleed and he wipes it off with the back of his hand. He kicks Leo brutally in the gut, causing Leo to fly back against the metal pole of the street lamp. This only fuses Ken's rage to become stronger. Leo slams his head against the metal and falls to the ground, panting heavily and, surprisingly, still conscious. I scream at the horror and the pain that these guys are going through.

Blood is staining their skin and hair, the blood on Ken's teeth trickles onto the cement. The condition of these two are not good, I immediately go into panic mode, not knowing which one to go to. I want to help both. I weep softly, covering my mouth and then instantly my ears begin to ring loudly with an echo of a gunshot that inched all between us. The bullet flies through the window to the apartment building right behind us, the effect is shattering it and alarms going off.

I let out a shrill cry and fall to the ground, Leo shoots his head up to look at me to make sure I'm uninjured and Ken's eyes just widen, knowing exactly what gun was used by the sound of the 9 millimeter and who the owner is.

"Jiyeon!" Ken and Leo both shoot, trudging towards me, but Ken pushes Leo away and brings me into his arms. Ken runs away with me around the block, Leo going the opposite direction to go home before the police arrive. The shooter stays in his position in the trees across from the building with a smirk on his hidden face.

Ken sets me on the ground safely, breathing hard, he cups my cheeks and looks everywhere on me. "Are you hurt?" He asks frantically.

I shake my head, only more tears falling. My body trembles and Ken holds me close in his cradling arms. "Just go back up to your apartment, okay? Stay there and don't come out until you go to work, do you understand me, beautiful?" Ken talks me through it, me just shaking my head to his words as I cry.
