Time passes as we look up at the stars together, staying close as one. We both point to the sky, finding alignments we know, and I tell him the shapes that I see. Our happy laughs mix together.

"Today has really been amazing, I appreciate everything Ken, thank you so much," I say with a grateful tone in my voice, feeling much better.

"No need to thank me, it was my pleasure. I'm glad to see you happy," Ken advises as his hand strokes down my hair once with a gentle touch. We both stand up and shake the leftover grass particles off our clothes, and we look up at each other intently. His arms slide around my waist and my arms swing over his shoulders, almost in slow motion, as we inch closer in anticipation.

My eyes are locked on his lips that are a deep pinkish color that look as though they are blooming lilies in a meadow in early springtime. He swiftly pulls me against his plump and soft lips as my eyes close in utter pleasure. My right leg lifts up unintentionally as our arms become tighter around each other, and the passionate kiss becomes deeper.

I am completely swooned over by the fact that our hearts begin beating as one, feeling them pound against our chests in sync like they are ready to burst out from behind our bones. The softness of his lips makes my heart melt down into a warm molasses puddle of pureness. I have never felt this way before in any period of my life, it's different, but I love it.

We slowly begin to part away from each other to regain the breath that was sucked from our lungs. Ken's oversized hands cups my cheeks and he leans his forehead against mine, smiling that bright attractive smile. My body tingles with warmth and the corners of my mouth feel like they are being stretched so far out that they are being yanked on by strings.

I giggle, clasping my hands onto the fabric of his shirt on his sides lightly, fluttering my eyes shut lightly. But my dreamy pleasure suddenly is interrupted by Ken's phone ringing. He sighs heavily with the affliction of guilt on his face under the illuminate moonlight, as he reaches for his phone in his pocket, swiftly.

I look down and fiddle with my fingers behind my back, accidentally catching a glimpse of his screen as he looks at it, rolling his eyes. The name reads 'Don'. I begin to ponder whether if Don was the name of the man that met up with him after the café. Was he a close friend?

"Excuse me, please," Ken bows to me and walks away as he answers the phone, keeping his distance for his privacy. I nod to him and look around, unable to contain my curiosity.

After a few moments of waiting with my own thoughts, Ken returns to me with a saddened expression. "I'm terribly sorry, Jiyeon, but I have to go now. That was work and it's important. Today was wonderful, and just call if you want to see me again, alright? Please be soon." He smiles after taking a deep breath from rambling on so quickly.

"Oh okay, I'll see you soon. Goodnight," I smile and nod at him, understanding that duty calls. He gives me one last big hug and runs off into the darkness, leaving me alone at the park, but, somehow, I don't feel alone.

This city can be frightening hence the high crime rates, so my hands are a little shaky due to the paranoia. Nobody is ever alone in these streets. My heart starts pounding against my chest as I check my surroundings carefully. Very few cars are passing. I was perplexed by the sudden change of Ken's urgent mood, but I let it pass. I shove my hands into my pockets, licking my lips to relive the taste of Ken on them. The appealing sensation was too surreal and just felt like a dream.

I begin to ascend my way back to my apartment, thinking I'll be able to manage myself there for a night. I'm surprised I haven't heard anything from Leo, but I really haven't checked my phone. Regardless, I figured he would've tried to look for me.
