Being married to my worse fear....

Chapter 3

Kristyn's POV

It was a typical work day and I was sitting at my desk waiting for my next patient to come in. I was scrolling through Instagram on my phone when Liam came running in with a panicked look on his face. "Liam what's wrong?" "Niallisnthimself" "Whoa, slow down what?" "Harry just called and said that they were out shopping and Niall was wincing and then he punched the clothes rack and that's when he knew that he needed to be checked out by you" "Ok. Tell Harry to bring him in right away." Liam nodded and ran back to the phone. I got up from my desk and quickly ran to my room to get it set up I have no idea what to expect with my husband. I got the room set up and then I heard the door open and all the boys trying to contain Niall. "Babe what's wrong?" I asked Niall while I put my hands on his cheeks. He swatted my hands away and knocked me to the floor. I face planted when I hit the floor and I knew that I broke 2 of my teeth. "Kristyn! Are you ok?" "Yeah, i'm fine Liam. But can you take care of Niall's check-up for me?" "Yes. I'm also going to sedate him so that he doesn't put up a fight with me." "Ok. Thank you." "No problem. Let's get you to the office." I nodded and he brought me to my office he also gave me an ice pack to put on my face and also gave two pain killers. "I'm going to go get the sedation pack and do Niall's check-up/procedure then i'm going to check your teeth and see what damaged he has done." I gulped because I was not expecting that I'm not that fond of the dentist even though i am one. I just nodded and he left the room.

Liam's POV

After I saw Niall hit Kristyn I knew that she had to have broken some teeth. I told the boys to bring Niall to room 4 and they obeyed. I helped Kristyn up from the floor and brought her to her office I gave her an ice pack and two painkillers and told her that i'm going to check her teeth right after I did Niall's check-up/procedure. I could tell that she was scared a little bit which was weird since she was a dentist. I didn't think much of it and I left the room and went to get the sedation packet. After I got the sedation packet I went into the room where the boys were and Niall was still freaking out but I was able to find a vein and I inserted the needle into his skin and inserted the medicine. "Niall, don't fight it bud let it take over." He nodded and I saw his eyes close. Once Niall was asleep the boys left and I opened his mouth and put a mouth prompt in before I got started. I looked around his mouth and saw that he needed 4 teeth pulled. I numbed him up and then got started.

-After Niall's procedure-

I finished Niall's procedure up and I put cotton in his mouth to stop the bleeding. I noticed that he was starting  to wake up and I grabbed another shot and stuck it into his IV that was in his arm. That should keep him asleep for a few more hours til i'm done with Kristyn. I went over to the chair that was right next to Niall's and I started setting things up. I didn't know what I was going to expect with my sister but I just set up everything and then went to get her. "Sis?" "Yea?" "How you feeling?" "It still hurts really bad but the two pain killers helped a little bit." "That's good. Are you ready for me to check?" "Yea I guess." Kristyn got up from her desk and followed me to the room that I had set up for her and she sat down in the chair. "Ok Sis, let's take a look." She opened her mouth and I started looking I looked around for a few minutes then told her what the damage was. "So you have 2 broken teeth but you also have 8 cavities that need to be fixed and also a cracked tooth that needs a crown." "Seriously? UGG!" " I'm also going to put in a mouth prompt just so that way your mouth doesn't get tired." She nodded and opened her mouth and I put the mouth prompt in then I started numbing her up and then got started with the procedure.

Kristyn's POV

When Liam told me that I had to have a lot of work done I was very upset because I haven't been to the dentist in a few years and I was mad at myself because I thought that I was taking great care of my teeth. When Liam told me that he was also putting a mouth prompt in I just nodded and opened my mouth for him. He started numbing me up and had to give to me 12 shots just to numb me fully. Let me just tell you, it felt weird to be numb again because I haven't been numbed since Liam and I had to give each other injections in Dental School. After I was fully numbed, he started on the 2 broken teeth first and fixed them. Half way through the procedure, Liam was working on my cracked tooth and Niall was starting to wake up. He saw me in the dental chair with Liam working inside my mouth. "What happened?" "You hit Kristyn in the face and made her break two of her teeth." Liam said to Niall. After he heard that he ran to my side and took my hand. "I'm so sorry babe. I didn't mean to." I just gave him a thumbs up since I couldn't talk because Liam had his tools in my mouth. He just took my hand and kissed it and played with my ring while I was waiting for Liam to finish.

Niall's POV

When I woke up and saw my wife in the dental chair I quickly asked what happened and when Liam told me that I broke two of her teeth I ran over to her side and held her hand. I told her I was extremely sorry and she gave me a thumbs up as a 'I forgive you' sign because she couldn't talk since she has all these tools in her mouth. I took her hand and I kissed it and then played with her ring while we waited for Liam to finish.

-After Kristyn's Procedure-

Liam finally finished working on Kristyn and I could tell that she was very tired. We were both very numbed and tired. Liam helped Kristyn up and she gave him a hug and thanked him for helping her. He hugged her right back and said it was no big deal. We headed home and we had Olive Garden for dinner since we couldn't eat anything hard because we didn't want to risk anything happening to Kristyn's or my teeth and end back up at the office tonight. After dinner we went upstairs and cuddled in bed and stayed like that for the rest of the night. I do love my wife very much and I was upset with myself for what I did to her. Even though she forgave multiple times and said it was fine I still felt guilty. We fell asleep in each others arms and I couldn't of enjoyed it any either way. I'm going to say this again, I love my wife so much!
