Chapter 8

Liam's POV

My alarm went off the next morning and I got up and started getting ready for work. After I got my scrubs on, I went downstairs and saw Kristyn sitting at the table with her laptop and a bowl of cereal. "Morning Sis." "Morning Li." "What's on the Agenda for today?" "We have a lot of patients, most of them need some kind of work done and then Niall has his appointment with me to get his 6-month cleaning and braces taken off." "Dang. It's going to be a long day then." "Yep." What Kristyn doesn't know is that I looked into her file and it says that she hasn't been to the dentist in 6 years. Now I don't know how I missed that but somehow I did. I finished my breakfast and Kristyn and I got up from the table and before we left she went to tell Niall that she had an appointment with her today which he didn't like but he will be there then we headed out together.

-At the Office-
Kristyn's POV
When Liam and I got to work we started setting up the tools and exam rooms for our patients. After Liam was done setting up for his first patient he came into the exam room that I was in and while I was setting up Numbing Needles for my first patient who needed 2 root canals he told me the news that I didn't want to hear. "Hey Sis?" "What's up Li?" "I didn't want to tell you this before but I looked into your file and it's been 6 years since you saw the dentist last. So after we are done with our patients for the day i'm giving you a check-up and a cleaning." "Ummm, I don't think that's necessary Liam." "Oh but it is." You see i'm scared of the dentist. Yes I know I am one but that's totally different. That's why I skipped out on all my appointments. I just said "Okay." to Liam and kept setting up for my first patient. After I finished setting up for the Root Canal procedures I went to my office for a little bit until I heard a knock on my door from my assistant telling me that they were ready. I got up from my chair and went into the exam room. "Hey Ivy, how are you doing?" "Fine." "So we're doing 2 Root Canals today and I'm just going to be honest with you its a very lengthy procedure. So what we're going to do first is numb you up." "Okay." I got the numbing gel and started rubbing it around her gums. Then I picked up the first out of 4 needles and put it in her mouth. I repeated that until all 4 needles were inserted and then waited a few mins for her to get numb and then got started.

-Around Lunch Time-
It was around lunch time and Niall would be coming in soon. I sat down at my desk for a few mins just trying to catch up on stuff when my husband walked through the door and handed me my lunch. I got up from my chair and we hugged and kissed and then we ate lunch together. I asked him if he was ready and he said yes. I brought him back to one of the exam rooms and did a quick cleaning and then we went to the Orthodontist side and I took his braces off and gave him his retainers. I hugged and kissed him one last time and I told him that I'll see him at home. He left and Liam and I got going on our last few patients of the day.

-After the last patient-
We finally finished our last patient but then I realized that Liam still has to give me a check-up/cleaning. I went into the exam room he was in and he told me to sit down which I did. He started checking my teeth and I winced a few times. He took the tools out of my mouth and that's when he told me the bad news.

Liam's POV
After Kristyn and I finished our last patients of the day, I told her to come into Exam Room number 13 and she obeyed. I told her to take a seat and she did. I started checking her teeth and she winced a few times and I noticed that she had 10 cavities. I decided that I would clean her teeth first then tell her the news. "So you have 10 cavities." "10?!?!" "yeah and we're going to fill them all on a different day because I know we're both tired and I know that you would want Niall here." "I still can't believe I have 10 cavities and yes I want my husband here with me." "Okay. So we'll fill them on your next day off which is in 2 days. Is that ok?" "Yeah I guess." "Good. Lets clean up and head home."

-After cleaning up the office-
We finished cleaning up the office and we headed out to the car and headed home to my wife and Kristyn's husband. Kristyn was silent the entire ride home and when she got home she went straight to Niall and I could tell she was crying. Niall just comforted her and that's what I love about Niall is that he's there for my sister and loves her with all his heart. I'm glad Kristyn found the right guy for her. I hated seeing her go through all those break-ups and guys breaking her heart. I'm just so glad Niall came into her life and makes her feel like a princess. After a few mins I saw that Kristyn was fast asleep so Niall carried her to bed. I said night to Niall and he said goodnight back. I turned off the TV and went to bed with my wife. I'm so glad we all have each other.

Sorry for not updating in a while ! I just lost ideas for this book but as I was reading a bunch of imagines that were written for me I started getting ideas for this book again. So I hope that it won't take me a few months like it did last time to update. Hopefully I can update this book soon. Hope you guys enjoy the chapter! Let me know what you guys think of it !
