Being married to my worse fear....

Chapter 9

Kristyn's POV
*2 days later*
Today was the day that I was getting my 10 cavities filled. I defiantly was not looking forward to it. Niall's coming with me to comfort me because he knows my fear and how much I hate the dentist. My alarm went off and I got dressed in comfy clothes because today is my day off but Liam still has to work but we opened the office super early so that we can fill all my cavities and then I can go home and sleep the rest of the day. I went into the bathroom and took a shower and brushed and flossed my teeth. I woke Niall up and he went into the bathroom and did everything that I just did. While he was in the bathroom I just sat on our bed and I didn't even hear Niall come out of the bathroom because I was so lost in my thoughts. "Whatcha thinking about babe?" Niall asked me. "I'm just thinking about today and I really don't wanna go through with it. I'm scared." I said while starting to cry. Niall pulled me up from the bed and hugged my very tight and I just stood there and let him hug me. We stayed like that for a few mins and then we went downstairs where we saw Liam sitting at the table eating breakfast. "Hey Li." "Hey Kris. Hey Ni." We sat down to eat with him then got up and headed towards the office.
-At the office-
As we were getting closer to the office I just started getting more and more nervous. Niall held my hand and walked back into an exam room with me. I sat down on the chair and Niall sat on the side of the chair and grabbed my hands. Liam put a bib around my neck and lowered the chair. He told me that he was going to put me on laughing gas and also put a movie on for me so that I could be distracted. He asked me what movie I wanted and obviously I chose their movie "This Is Us" and he put it in and put headphones on me. He also told me that he was going to put a mouth prompt in so that I didn't have to hold my mouth open for that long. I just nodded and breathed the laughing gas in while Liam got the numbing gel and put it around my mouth. He started setting up the numbing needles and then took the cotton sticks out and told me to open wide and to squeeze Niall's hands. He put the first needle in and I whimpered and that's when the tears came down my face. Niall kissed my hands and then came up and wiped the tears off my face. Liam finished with that first needle and finished numbing me with the rest of the numbing shots and waited til I was numb before he started filling my 10 cavities.

Niall's POV
Seeing my wife get shots in her mouth makes me feel so bad for her. We both share the same fear of being terrified of the dentist. I still can't believe she has 10 cavities and just watching her cry while getting the numbing shots makes my heart hurt for her. I went up to her face and wiped away her tears with a tissue and kissed her on the lips before she became really numb and couldn't feel anything. Liam left the room for a few mins while Kristyn got numb so we both watched "This is Us" while we waited. Liam came back in a few minutes later and asked Kristyn if she was numb and she said yes. Liam sat back down on the chair and grabbed his mask and gloves and the mouth prompt. He puts the mouth prompt in and then gets started drilling out her cavities.
-After the procedure-
It was about 3 hours later and Liam finally finished with filling Kristyn's 10 cavities. I helped Kristyn up and I brought her out to the car and helped her in. I drove home and helped her out of the car and up to our bedroom where she got into bed and curled up under the blanket. She took her engagement ring and wedding bad off and put it on the dresser next to her. She doesn't like to wear it to bed because she's afraid that she's going to lose it. I climbed into bed next to her and I noticed she was already asleep. I kissed her forhead and went to sleep as well.
-A few hours later-
Kristyn woke up and said her mouth hurts. I gave her some pain meds and we watched our favorite show together and while we were in the middle of our favorite show Kristyn fell asleep again and I wasn't too much long after. I woke up about an hour later and noticed that I had to go pick Liam up from work. I tried my best to not wake Kristyn up and I went downstairs and got into the car and drove towards the office. When I got to the office Liam came out and I could tell that he was thinking about something "What's up Li?" "Oh nothing." "Whatcha thinking about?" "When I saw Kristyn crying in the chair when I was giving her the numbing shots just made my hear hurt so much. I was just thinking that if I could I would of taken her place right there and then. I just hated seeing my sister like that." Liam said while starting to cry. "Li, it's not ur fault that Kristyn is TERRIFIED of the dentist. It's the dentist that we all had when we were younger he made us terrified of the dentist. Don't feel bad. Kristyn had to have that work done but it's not because of you it's because of that Dentist that made her scared and didn't want to come back to get them filled. But she finally did and I couldn't be more proud of her than I am right now and you did a great job on them too. She won't be mad at you for making her go through that. So don't feel bad Li." "I really needed to hear that Ni. I'm so glad that we were put together as a band and we became great friends and that you married my sister. I'm thankful for you and how you treat my sister." Liam says as he gave me a hug. "I love you Li." "I love you too Ni." We get home a few mins later and I go up to mine and Kristyn's room and find her still asleep. I climb back into bed with her and just hold her tight. I'm so happy that she decided to marry me and be my other half for the rest of our lives. I whisper in her ear "I love you Kristyn" and then lay down in bed and covered myself with the blanket and fell asleep. I love my wife !
