Being married to my worse fear....

Chapter 5

Kristyn's POV 

It was the day after Valentine's day and Liam and I were sitting in my office going through what we needed to re-order for the office. I was also eating the chocolate that my husband surprised me with. As I was eating the chocolate, I felt a pain in my back teeth and I just screamed in pain. "Sis, what happened?" "I just ate a piece of chocolate and I felt pain in my back teeth but I'll be fine." "No. If you feel pain I need to check it out before it gets worse." "But Liam, I don't want to." "I don't care. You're getting it checked out." He said as he walked out to get an exam room ready. He came back a few minutes later and said he was ready for me. I just groaned but I got up and followed him. I really don't wanna do this.

Liam's POV 

When Kristyn screamed out in pain, I knew that she had a cavity or something. When I told her that I was going to check her teeth she fought with me on it but that's just how my sister is. She can be a stick a lot of the times but I love her. I went to set a room up and when I finished I went and got her and she groaned but she got up from her desk and followed me. I told her to sit in the chair when we got to the room and she did. I put my gloves and mask. She looked at me with eyes that said ' I don't wanna do this' but she knows she has to. "OK  sis, open nice and wide." Kristyn did as told and she opened. I grabbed my mirror and explorer and quickly looked around her mouth. After a few minutes of looking, I finally found the problem and saw that she had a pretty good size cavity. I quickly got the numbing gel and put it on her gums. I got the numbing shot set up and I took the numbing gel out of her mouth. I put the needle in and she started to squirm a little bit but I calmed her down and finished administering the Novacaine into her gums. I took the needle out after it was done and I waited for the numbing to start. I asked Kristyn  a few minutes later if she was numb and she said yes. I got the drill and the right drill bud and got started on fixing her cavity.

Kristyn's POV 

As Liam was fixing my cavity, I realized that Liam hasn't had his teeth checked in a while. I then decided that I was going to check his teeth after he was done with mine. He finished fixing my cavity and went through the whole check my bite to make sure that it was good. I got up from the chair and I asked Liam about checking his teeth. "Hey Li?" "Yea?" "While you were fixing my tooth, I realized that you haven't had your teeth checked in a while. So I want to give you a check-up." "Umm, I'm good. But thanks for asking Sis" "No. You made me do one so I'm going to do you now. I'll be right back, i'm going to get some new fresh tools." I said as I walked out of the room.

Liam's POV 

When Kristyn told me that she was going to check my teeth I got a little nervous because I've been having a lot of pain in the back of my mouth and I really didn't want anyone to know especially my sister. But I guess its now or never. I sat down in the chair and waited for Kristyn to get back. She came back into the room and got her mask and gloves on. SHe then lowered the chair and then asked me the question I really didn't want to hear "OK Li, open up." I opened and she slipped the tools in my mouth she looked around for a few minutes then took her tools out but then replaced it with numbing gel while she got the numbing needles together behind my head. She took the q-tip out of my mouth and quickly replaced it with the numbing needle. Let me just say it took me by surprise because I haven't had a needle in my mouth since Kristyn and I were in Dental school. She took the first needle out then put in another one. When she got done with the second one she waited for the medicine to start working then started drilling my teeth.

-After procedure-

Kristyn finished filling my 2 cavities then put the chair up. It felt really weird to be numb. We both went back to her office and finished doing what we were doing before the whole check-up thing. When we finished we both went home, yes we live together along with Niall, my wife, and daughter, and I cuddled my wife and daughter  while Kristyn cuddled Niall. I just have to say that I have a pretty good family and I love them.
