I never mentioned to Colin about the interaction with Will and I figured it was best I didn't. We didn't talk about the night he just left me and there was just an awkwardness between us for a few weeks. Instead I put all my focus in finishing up my fourth year and I got good grades and even a position offer. I had been studying elementary and slowly working my way up. I had applied to be a preschool teacher at Little Ones Learning Center a few weeks ago and finally got a call back. I would start August 26th working Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays and my classes would be Tuesday and Thursday. I was pretty excited about it. I had called my mom right away and she was probably more excited than I was. "This is just what you need!" she exclaimed.
It was a Saturday night and Colin and I were watching America's Next Top Model and I finally brought up about my sister and I living together. "Babe, there is a situation my sister is in" I started off slowly. He nodded waiting for more. "She lost her job as I told you before and she has an interview next week with Applebee's but she has two weeks to move out because she can't meet rent... I am going to share an apartment with her whether it is her place or mine" I said feeling nervous. He shrugged his shoulders. "Ok?" he said as if it had no impact on him. "You are sure you are okay with this?" I said not feeling convinced that he wasn't a little upset. This would mean we had to be even more discreet. "Yeah" he replied focused on the screen.
I ended up packing up my stuff to move in with my Miranda because she had more stuff than I had and my drive time to the preschool would be cut down from 20 minutes to 10 minutes. Our rent would be 250 each, all utilities included. It helped me out because that was 150 less than what I was paying currently at my place. The first few days whenever I wasn't working we just bs'd a lot and watched movies. It was nice being closer to my sister. When she went for her interview I was on pins and needles. She had actually applied for Waitress and Hostess and got called for the Waitress. I had mentioned to my boss that I would be leaving come August so maybe this was a good chance for Miranda. When she came home she gave me a big smile, "I got it" she yelled. We jumped up and down like highschool girls, hugging each other. The bartender Miranda flirted with a few months before came over that night, we celebrated with shots. When we tilted back our shots, I saw Colin out the corner of my eye pretending to do the same just to feel like he was there with us and it made me really sad.
It was 3 weeks later and Miranda had gone out for the night and I had just gotten back from a 10 hours shift because a girl had called off. My feet were sore and I was irritated. I sulked into my room and closed the door behind me, kicked off my shoes and fell into my bed. "UGHHH" I groaned loudly. I heard Colin open the door and a few seconds later, "Annika, are you ok?" he meekly asked. "No" I said grumbling into my pillow. He sat beside me and rubbed my lower back. It felt so good and he would slowly trail his palm down lower and lower until he was so close to my cheeks and I wanted to groan but we kept pretending like sex wasn't a thing. That made me a little peeved, "Thanks I am good" I said bluntly. He lifted his hand off, "Annika..' he said quitely. I just shooked my head and waved him off. I waited for him to leave but he didn't. I looked up and he had a hurt expression on his face. "Sorry" I said quietly, "I just had a rough day" I said trying to make things less uncomfortable.
He stood up and lifted his shirt up and my eyes widened. Was this really going to happen? I sat upright and grabbed at his pants, sliding them down around his ankle. I could see his package building through his boxers. I slid them off too and grabbed ahold and lower my lips to it. He groaned as I worked on his manhood, it had been so long. He grabbed the side of my face and pulled me up to his lips. Our tongues mingled and I too let out a groan. A voice spoke scaring the crap out of us. "Annika, do you have a guest over" Miranda's curious voice said through the crack of the door. I had to think for a moment, "Oh...um no..I was just...you know" I yelled. I heard her laugh, "Oh ok well I am done for the night and I am going to take a shower...continue onward my sad little sister" she said teasing me. I chuckled and looked back to Colin but my smile faded because his clothes were back on. "Seriously?" I snarled. I shoved him back and brushed past him, "Forget it. I should've known anyways" I spewed flinging my door open and storming into the livingroom. My sister was on the couch just staring at me and my heart stopped. With a concerned look she said, "Sure no one is in there?". I just laughed and shook my head, "I am trying out for a play" I said jokingly. She just laughed back but still kept that look on her face, like she thought I was crazy.
