Shamar squinted his eyes, looking around the familiar place that wasn't his home before he realized that he had fallen asleep at Bree's place. He tossed the blanket to the side slowly lifting up from the couch. The house was still quiet indicating that no one else but him was awake. He grabbed the cell phone off of the glass coffee table switching it on 6:06am.
He pushed the cell phone in his pocket quietly exiting the apartment. He jogged down the stairs of the apartment complex, He threw the hoodie over his head. Looking over at the worn out apartment that was known as the crew's dopehouse he didn't see any of his friends cars parked outside.
He shrugged heading towards the silver dodge that was parked a few blocks down. Bree flopped over on her side snuggling into the covers. She sighed swatting away the mosquito that somehow found her ear in the dark. "Ugh." She groaned plucking her phone from the charger 6:21am. "Today is going to be a shitty day." She groaned pushing the covers off of her. "I have work today yay." She spoke dryly.
Shamar stood in front of the mirror with his hair neatly wrapped and a towel around his waist. He had just gotten out of the shower. He pulled open the drawer reaching for a pair of briefs. He kissed his teeth pressing the cell phone against his ear "Watchu want man? It's early as fuck." He fussed slipping into a pair of briefs. "Nigga don't give me no attitude you must not wanna see yo' son." She rolled her eyes. "Watchu want? You tryna let me see my son na'?"
"Boy.. I don't got the time to deal witcho attitude, I'm on my way to airport na' so I'll drop him off later." She hung up. Shamar groaned leaning back on the bed "She the only one with a attitude." He grumbled. Laya barged in "Wassup Grinch." She slapped his chest plopping down on the bed. "Man why is you in hea'?"
"Why are you so mad?" She spoke. "Why is you in hea'?" She rolled her eyes shaking her head "I came in here because i wanted to talk to you about something." He furrowed his eyebrows sitting up. What could his little sister possibly want to talk to him about.

Bree slowly walked through the aisle pushing the shopping cart. Her younger brother Jaden slowly followed behind her holding the box of captain crunch "Ay big sis lemme put this in da' cart." He spoke. Bree rolled her eyes "Jaden you know I don't like this kinda cereal." He kissed his teeth waving her off "So? I like it and you got that uh that fuckin' Rice krispie shit." He scrunched up his face.
Bree side eyed him "Why you lookin' at my favorite cereal like that?" She chuckled. "Because that shit is nasty yo." He chuckled throwing his arm around her shoulder "Its crazy how you my baby sis and I'm taller than you." Bree kissed her teeth "Boy move I'm short but I'd still whoop yo ass."
"Oh yea? We can bet on that." He nudged her. The cell phone buzzed in her hand. She tapped the screen pressing it against her ear. "Hey Shamar." She spoke. "Wazzam? Where you at?" He cracked the seal on the bottle of Hennessy. "I'm at the grocery store why?" He poured himself a glass "Uh.. I wanted to take you out some where.. to chill witchu."
"Ok I'm almost done here so I'll call you back when I'm at home, Ok?" He leaned back in the chair taking a sip of the liquor from his glass "A'ight." He heard shuffling in the background before she hung up.
"Ouu big sis you got a boyfriend na'?" Jaden smirked. "Nope he's not my boyfriend he's just a close friend of mine." She rolled her eyes. Jaden stuffed his hands in his pockets before clearing his throat "I know I don't be at home alot but I still peep shit, so what's going on with you and riley?"
She sighed "I don't know really I feel like she's just sticking her nose too deep into my personal life, and you remember Jayceon?" Jaden furrowed his eyebrows "Mhm he yo' ex right?" Bree nodded "Yea him, I Know it's been a year or so since we went our separate ways or talked to each but that's not an excuse for her to date him." Bree fussed. Jaden eyes widen "Ri is fuckin' with ya ex? Forreal big sis?"

The silver dodge was parked in front of the apartment complex. He sat in the drivers seat bobbing his head to the music that played softly. She jogged down the stairs, she scanned the street for his car. His eyes lit up when he saw the way the silk gray colored dress hugged her small figure and the small coat she wore complimented the outfit.
Tonight would be a night that they would never forget.
"To be continued."
