Shamar slipped into a pair of sweatpants, he sat at the edge of the bed counting the cash from yesterday. "Fifty, sixty, shit one hunnid." He mumbled over and over again.

Marsha swiftly maneuvered around the kitchen with kay clutching onto her shoulder. She neatly placed the two plates on the table before resting Kay in the high chair "Y'ALL COME AND GET SOMETHIN' TO EAT." She shouted.

Shamar licked over his lips wrapping the Cash up in a rubber band. The cell phone vibrated on the nightstand Lanique would like to face time. He accepted it focusing his attention on the money. "Why am I looking at the ceiling I wanna see my son." She fussed.

"He not in hea' right na' and I'm doin' somethin'." He spoke. "What do you mean he not in there where is my son?" Her eyebrows knitted together. "Man he in the kitchen with my moma the fuck."

"Hm.. just makin' sure you ain't got no bitches around my child." She grumbled adjusting the bonnet on her head. "Tss." He shook his head lifting up the phone, he made his way into the kitchen area.

"Mornin' Moma. Wazzam Laya? Kay yo' moma on the phone." He held the phone in front of kay. "Aww look at my baby him so cute, mommy is coming for you tomorrow." Shamar scrunched up his face turning the phone towards him "What you mean tomorrow? You dont get him until sunday evening? What is you talkin' about Lanique?"

"I'm going to miami in the morning and shit I ain't coming back no time soon so Yea I'm gettin' him early." She shrugged. Marsha huffed and side eyed her son "When was you gonna tell me this bruh? How the fu- how ima see my son if you all the way in miami."

"Shit I'm tellin' you now, and I don't know that's for you to figure out." She hung up. Shamar sighed "I ain't even hungry no mo', Ima see yaw later." He pulled his keys out of his pocket storming out of the house.

Marsha and Laya eyed each other and then Kay "I just think that it isn't fair the way she treats him." Laya blurted out.

Shamar plopped down on the sofa staring at the cocaine bricks in front of him "What yaw tryna get into tonight?" He lifted one of the bricks up.

Jay knitted his eyebrows together eyeing Shamar "Ain't you got kay fa' the weekend?" Shamar sighed "Nah Lanique said she picking him up tomorrow so shit." He placed the brick on the scale.

Jay nodded "Man it's sad how you and 'nique ended up." Sharawn added. "Shit they was good in highschool." Jack chimed shrugging. Shamar shook his head "Shit happens and a nigga gotta keep it pushing."

"Fuck allat sad shit." Jay turned the music up plopping down on the couch beside Shamar. "Bro you want somethin' to drink." Jack asked holding up the bottle of brown liquor in his hand "Shit you can pop some pills too if you want." He held up the bottle of pills.

"Nah I ain't feelin' it and I don't even pop pills bruh that shit is wack." He waved him off "Shit fuck it, this the only way I get by." Jack muttered.

Sharawn blew smoke through his nose sitting on the window sill. "Shit some crazy mothafucka' out hea' givin' it to his girl." Sharawn mumbled glancing out the window.

"Is it the same nigga from last week?" Jay asked. "Shit I don't know I was high as fuck last week and I'm still high as fuck." Sharawn shrugged. Shamar lifted up from the sofa pulling up his sweatpants. He glanced at window and then at Jay "I think I know ha' b." He walked over to the window slightly pushing sharawn to the side. "I know ha'." He mumbled.

He pulled the pistol from his waist.

"To be continued."
