His eyebrow knitted together, he stared down at his call log confused. Apparently he answered a call from his ex but he doesn't remember talking to her. "Bro?" He called out.

Jack's lifted his eyebrows glancing at his friend then turned his attention back to the cellphone "Did I talk to my ex girl lastnight?" Jack shrugged scratching the back of his head "To be honest man i was really high so y'know i don't remember nothing."

Shamar kissed his teeth waving him off "Whea' Sharawn at?"

"Y'know that boy still sleep."

"Nigga why is y'all talkin' 'bout a nigga?" Sharawn stood in the doorway with a toothbrush hanging from his mouth. "Homie wanna know if he talked to his ex girl lastnight." Jack spoke eyeing Sharawn then Shamar.

"Shit why is you askin' me? I was licking Hennessy off of random hoes." He chuckled. "But nah i don't think i remember you talkin' to ole girl though."

Shamar stared at the cellphone before switching it off. Does it matter that Bree called? Does it matter if he talked to her? No it didn't. Whatever words were exchanged it definitely was nothing that would bring them back together.

He leaned over turning up the low music. Partying night and day wasn't his thing but nowadays that's all he did.

Bree stood in front of the mirror shaking her head, she was tearing apart. She was broken inside out and it showed. There was nothing that could numb her pain, she was so caught up on Shamar that she didn't pay attention to the one person that she was responsible for her little sister. Her mothers last words replayed in her head like a broken record watch over your sister.

And she blew it all for a relationship that didn't even last six months. There is no one to blame for Riley's death but her. Her sister had been mutilated by that man. Riley's body parts were found in the apartment she was staying in with him. The police described Riley's death to be a horror "She was only seventeen." Bree sobbed.

Her little brother Jalen barged into the bedroom. "Bree i swear to God! I'm killing his ass Bree! I swear!" He paced back and fourth. Bree didn't respond to her brother instead she embraced him. "She's gone Jalen.. she's gone." She wept.

Partynextdoor's Can't let the summer pass spilled through the speakers of the convertible. Shamar decided to leave the rest of the crew back at the hotel, today he wanted to ride solo. The car came to a stop at the redlight, smoke escaped from his notrils. He swished the cup of brown liquor around before taking a sip and pressing on the gas.

He had no idea where he was going but he just needed to get out something didn't feel right. Every now and then Bree crossed his mind, he wondered why did she call him yesterday? "Fuck it." He mumbled lifting up the cellphone. He glanced at the road before flipping through his contacts. He tapped the screen pressing the cellphone against his ear.

He slammed on the brakes, the cellphone slipped out of his hand flying towards the backseat. His chest heaved up and down with his eyes wide open...
