"Bad for you."
It was dark out, the breeze blew against the curtains. She sat on the couch waiting for a response. It had been little over a week since the two lovers buried their secret in the woods. They hadn't spoken since then and even then they barely talked. Bree was tired of the silent treatment, they buried a man together and he still had nothing to say to her. Maybe she was desperate or needed a friend she texted him her new address and said that he was free to come over.He didn't respond but he was on his way, she didn't know that. He missed popping up in the middle of the night at her house. He wasn't interested in talking about the murder it was the past they did what they had to. He pushed the car door open sliding himself out. He was outfront her new building.
She tied the strings to her robe slowly walking over to the door. She wasn't expecting him to be on the other side because he didn't respond to her text. He stuffed his hands in his pockets flashing a smile at her when she opened the door. "Wazzam?"
She smiled on the inside shutting the door behind him. "You got a nice lil space." He spoke taking a seat at the small glass dining room table.
"Mhm its just me so yea.. do you want anything?" She pealed open the fridge
"Nah I'm good."
She nodded cracking the seal on the bottled water. "So how are things?" She didn't like small talk but in this situation she felt like it was needed.
"Things are things." He shrugged "But i should be tha one askin' you that so how are things?"
"Things are great, I'm murderer and things are great." She was being sarcastic but there wasn't a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"Is you serious?"
She chuckled shaking her head "I'm being sarcastic.. someone has no sense of humor."
"Guess it wasn't funny.. but forreal is you good? Don't lie to me Bree."
"I'm fine Shamar seriously. I'm just.. lonely I don't know.. I miss you." She took a seat at the other end of the table sitting across from him.
He licked over his lips slowly nodding "I miss you too.. you was my baby but what you did.. that shit hurt me." Little by little he exposed his feelings.
"It hurt me too and i learned from that mistake we're young and we'll make stupid decisions."
"Hm 'we're young and we'll make stupid decisions' remember that." He made a mental note quoting her words.
"I will. But don't sit here and act like i was the only one doing the heart breaking." She spoke.
He furrowed his eyebrows he didn't do anything that she cared about "I ain't do nothin'."
"Let's go back in time before all of this i called you and you answered. I called to tell you that i miss you but you were having sex with God knows who."
He scratched the back of his head and shrugged "I ain't answer it and we weren't together."
"Well for the record i haven't had sex with anyone since we broke up."
"Guess we different."
An awkward silence filled the room. Maybe its too soon to talk about their issues. Maybe all of these things happened to soon. "I heard about ya' little sista'." He was unaware that the murder had something to do with her sister.
She shifted uncomfortably "Yea.. everyones talking about it, its all over social media, the news, some people even wrote articles about how she died." It was hard for Bree she would be reminded of her dead sister every time she opened her phone.
"I have a question for you.." she trailed off "What if someone found out that we did it?"
He shrugged "Ain't nobody gon' find out and if they do we not goin' to jail."
"Another question.. Do you love me?"
He shook his head "What kind of question is that?"
"Answer it."
"Yes I love you Bree."
She stood up from her seat making her way to the other side of the table where he sat. She untied the strings on her robe revealing her naked body. She pulled his tshirt off brushing her hands against his chest "Show me."
He wrapped his arms around her waist tracing a line of kisses on her stomach.

Smoke clouded the bedroom, she laid beside him with the sheets covering her naked body. She inhaled the stench from the cannabis he smoked "Can I see your phone?"
He eyed her "For what?"
"To delete the hoes out of your phone, hoes don't belong in our love story."
He chuckled "I don't have hoes in my phone but you can check if you think I'm lyin'." He tossed the cellphone over to her.
"I'll check it later." She placed the cellphone on the nightstand. She crawled on top of him tracing circles on his chest "I wanna be apart of your lifestyle."
"Huh?"
"I wanna be apart of your crew." She got a rush from doing things with Shamar it was like he inspired to do terrible things. She'd rob a bank if they were doing it together because with him she felt invincible. She admired his way of living, the risky shit he did.
Smoke escaped from his mouth as he chuckled "You wanna be a robber? A dope dealer? I don't believe ya'."
"I don't believe me either.. but it's like I'd do bad things with you.. i wanna do bad things with you."
