Chapter 27

Jungkook's POV

"She lost her memories in Australia", Taehyung calmly said. 

"What!?", I exclaimed.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She lost her memories two times now, what happened to her in Australia that. Why was she in Australia in the first place? Was it to run away from me? Is that why she disappeared... 

All these unanswered questions were circulating my head and I couldn't think straight... I was so horrible to her, out of anger that she doesn't remember me. I thought it was all an act but I didn't realise that she lost her memories again... 

What should I do now? 

"Taehyung please take my deal we can leave Soeun out of it..."

Taehyung looked at me puzzled why I kept pressing for the deal, but truth be told I just needed a friend someone to hold on to right now, and his also the closest person to Soeun I know. Maybe Taehyung would be my way out of this mess my mother created. 

"I will take only 30% of the profit and the rest will go back to you", Taehyung said sternly. 

"No please just take the 90%", I pleaded. 

"Jungkook. Listen, if I do that your company will be at a loss and I can't let that happen. I will take 30% plus I will keep you updated on Soeun once in a blue moon", Taehyung gave me this sympathetic look. 

I kept silent. 

It was a really good deal.

"Thank you", was all I said before I got up and left. 

Soeun's POV

It was the day after I agreed to be Taehyung's temporary personal assistant. He hasn't given me any details about when I start and the time I start so I decided to go to the office extra early. I grabbed some bagels on the way to the office to share with Taehyung and his secretary to make a good first impression and hopefully to make a friend. 

I waited in front of the company as I had no other options, I didn't want to make a scene again. It was currently 8 am and flocks of employees rushed in which meant this was usually the time employees would start working. There were no signs of Taehyung so I decided to call him. 

Taehyung picked up after one ring. 

"Hello, this is Taehyung speaking"

"Hi, this is your personal assistant speaking Park Soeun currently stranded outside the company building because their employer did not provide an Id.", I teased and joked with Taehyung over the phone. 

"Wait there I'm almost at the company building", Taehyung said quickly hanging up after.

Soon after that, I saw Taehyung running towards me in his expensive suit and his hair all done up. None the less he looked very good. 

"Hey sorry I kept you waiting. I thought you would want a day off", Taehyung said. 

"I'm keen to get started."

"Well, let's get your Id taken care of first Ms my personal assistant", Taehyung teased walking into the company building. 

I observed the atmosphere and chose to walk a few steps behind Taehyung not wanting other employees getting the wrong idea. 

"What are you doing Soeun all the way back there?", Taehyung questioned my strange behaviour.

"Please keep walking Mr Kim...", I smiled at Taehyung.
