Chapter 20

BEAM POV

    Forth had fallen asleep by the time we had arrived. I leaned across the console and kissed him on the lips softly. He stirred and little but didn’t wake up all the way. I smiled and kissed him again. I sat back and watched him open his eyes.

    “That’s a good way to be woken up.” He said quietly in a sleepy voice. I smiled and gave him one more quick kiss before jumping out of the car. He laughed as he got out. “You’re happy.” He said. I nodded and wrapped my arms around his waist as wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

    “I am. I’m with you.” I said. Forth laughed and shook his head as we walked to the door. We had only opened the door when we were bombarded by our parents and siblings.

    “We tried calling you guys and no one answered. We were so worried about you guys.” My mom said pulling Forth and I into a tight hug.

    “Mom, we’re fine.” I said laughing as she pulled back. She sighed deeply and laughed before punching me slightly in the arm.

    “I hate you.” She said before hugging me again. “You didn’t even tell us you were going back, Beer did. And then she told us about you and Forth as we tried calling you guys but neither one of you picked up. We were about to go raid your dorm for you.” She said chuckling softly. I looked up at Forth and then over to my sister.

    “Beer told you what about me and Forth?” I asked my mom, looking at her.

    “About you’re guy’s relationship.” She said. Forth’s mom laughed.

    “It’s explins a lot actually.” She said causing everyone to laugh and nod in agreement. Everyone except Forth, Prae, and I. Did everyone know?

    “Wait.” Prae said holding up her hands. “My brother is gay? My brother is gay for Beam? Beam is gay for my brother, and they’re gay with each other?” She asked dumbfounded.

    “Yeah.” Was all Forth said as he nodded.

    “Since when?” She asked. She looked shocked out of her mind, but I could see in her eyes that she was definanlty imagining us being gay together. She was one weird girl.

    “Not long.” I answered quietly. She nodded before smiling wide.

    “My brothers gay.” She said with practical heart eyes. Everyone laughed and then his parents spoke up.

    “I guess that means you aren’t marry Beer?” His mom asked smiling. Forth smiled and shook his head.

    “Guess not.”

    “Oh, I’m so heart broken.” Beer said dramtically grabbing her chest. Everyone laughed and shook their heads.

    “Are you and Beam going to get married?” His mom asked. He were both silent for a few moments.

    “We haven’t dicussed it.” Forth answered. His mother nodded.

    “Do you want to marry him?” She questioned. Forth cleared his throat before looking down at me quickly before looking back up at his mother.

    “I mean I guess.” He answered. He guesses? What does that mean? I mean I guess I kind of get it because we haven’t ever talked about getting married and then now here his parents are, asking us a bunch of questions. Did I want to marry him?

    “When do you plan on marrying him?”

    “I don’t know. We haven’t even been on a first date yet.” He said looking down at me, chuckling nervously.

    Then he spoke those four words.

   

    “We aren’t even dating.”
