I woke up feeling like I got hit by a semi truck. I groaned, why? why do I do this to myself. I drank way to much last night. It's rare that I don't remember anything that happen the night before, but the last thing I remember is starting to play a drinking game with everyone. I pushed my hair out of my face and looked around. I was relieved I was in my room and not in some random boys house.
I got up and immediately ran to my toilet to throw up. With my face in the toilet I heard my brother "Tsk tsk Mia, how much did you drink last night?" I looked at Mike with a face of defeat "Way to much Mikey, don't drink anymore trust me." He started laughing. I got up and started washing my face and brushed my teeth. "How did I get home?" I asked with toothpaste getting all over my face and shirt.
Mike rolled his eyes "I had to go pick you up, Raven was too preoccupied with taking care of Landon. You and Landon at a party together?" he shook his head "not a good mix."
"Poor Raven, I hope I didn't do anything stupid. I haven't drank that much in such a long time, I'm only getting flashes of what happen last night." I walked to my closet closing all the window blinds on the way and picked out some clothes to change into. I smelt like liquor and bad decisions.
Mike patted my shoulder "Mom's pissed by the way, you didn't tell her where you were, andddd I had to tell her to lend me her car so I can pick you up" He said that last part quickly but I still heard him. I snapped at him "Mike what the hell!? You're suppose to cover me!"
He grimaced "I'm so sorry, really sis I couldn't find your keys and I had to tell her. She caught me trying to get her keys out of her purse." I knew Mike wouldn't intentionally rat me out. I guess his story added up.
"Fine, I'll go deal with the beast in a little." Mike chuckled. "Don't call her beast unless you want to be grounded for even longer." I waved him off "yeah, yeah just go traitor!"
Mike walked out and went downstairs, I ran to the bathroom to throw up again. I decided to shower before going downstairs. My mom was lenient about partying and drinking, as long as we let her know who we were with. I totally forgot to text her. So I was sure I was going to be grounded.
"Well look who it is!" My dad yelled. I grimaced "Dad please, I have a headache." My dad looked around "Oh I'm sorry, am I being to loud." He said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes.
I sat down by Mike and sent him a glare. He looked down and continued to eat his breakfast. My mom was fixing everyone their plates. She slammed my plate down roughly. Oh jeez the beast is definitely out. "Thank you Mommy!" I gave her a puppy eyed look.
"Don't you Mommy me Mia Acosta!" She sat down. I pushed my plate away knowing I was going to have no time to eat.
"Do you know how sick and worried I was about you! We have one rule Mia. Your father and I let you kids do anything you want, all we ask for in return is to let us know where you are, who you're going to be with, and not to drink too much!" Her arms were flailing all over the place.
She was more than pissed. Damn. "You know what we got Mia!?" I didn't think she wanted an answer. I saw my Dad and Mike snickering. Traitors! The both of them!
"You didn't text me, you didn't call, you came home drunk out of your mind, singing some song about big flying jets! I thought you were high!" Mike and my dad were now laughing out loud.
I didn't want to laugh but their laughter was making me want to laugh. "Stop laughing you two, before I go off on you too! Mike don't forget your grounded too!" I looked at my brother with a coy smile.
"Why is Michelle grounded Mommy?" I asked sweetly. Mike kicked me under the table. He hates when I call him that.
"Mike is grounded because he got detention yesterday. Now you can join him." she smiled.
