"ASH!!! Wake up we're going to late for the last day of school!!" screamed my older brother, Drew, as he jumped on my bed and began shaking me aggressively trying to wake me up. "Omg i'm up, i'm up. Geez." i say as i rub my eyes and let out a long tired, yawn. I stayed up all night scrolling through a hot guys instagram that i found just recently. His name is Zach Herron, and let me tell ya. He. Is. Hot. This of course, didn't help me have any more of a desire to get up in the morning because if anyone knows me, they know i am NOT a morning person. I take a look at the clock and realize that i could have slept another 30 minutes but once i'm up, i'm up. Drew leaves my room shutting the door behind him, so i walk into my bathroom and begin to wash my face. After washing my face i brush my teeth, straighten my hair, and apply deodorant. I then walk over to pick out my outfit for the day.

After getting dressed I apply a light layer of makeup and some gloss. Just as i was finishing my makeup Breckin walks in wearing a cute outfit, that makes her skin look perfect and golden.

"Goodmorning, ash. Breakfast is ready." "Okay." I quickly grab my phone and head downstairs with her. Her dad always makes an amazing breakfast every year on the last day of school. Today he made ham & cheese omelets, bacon, chocolate chip pancakes (my absolute favorite), toast, and of course his homemade biscuits and gravy! I let the amazing scent of all the foods wash over me as i head towards to refrigerator to poor my self a glass of my favorite drink in the world. Chocolate milk! "Good morning sleepyhead!" says Breckin's mom, Traci over her shoulder as she puts a generous amount of food on a plate for everyone to grab. "Goodmorning!" i reply with a sleepy smile. I grab a plate of food, and walk over to sit by my little sister, Molly and Breckin. After breakfast I get in my car and drive Breckin and I to school. Molly rides with Drew in his car. We drive separately because after school Drew usually goes to workout, if he doesn't have football or baseball practice, Molly usually rides home with her boyfriend, Tyler, but likes to ride with Drew in the mornings. School goes by like a blur and next thing i know i'm driving to the ice cream shop just 10 minutes from my house with Breckin, and one of our really good friends, Kamri. Once we arrive Kamri goes up to order our ice cream while Breckin and i find a seat. Once we are settled in one of the pastel pink picnic tables I happen to glance up and catch someone's eye. He's with 4 other guys who are all laughing and joking around. He looks so familiar. Just then it hits me. "OMG!" As i say this Breckin looks up from her phone confused. "What?" she raises her eyebrow, and follows my gaze. She gasps. "That's the guy you were stalking on instagram?" "Shhh keep it down i don't want him to hear!" "Ashley, you can't." She gives me a stern look. "W-what are you talking about?" "Ashley, that's Zach Herron." "Yes, i know that." "Our families HATE each other!" She shouts catching Kamri's attention as she walks over to us with the ice cream. "What? Why?" "When my dad and his dad were in high school they absolutely hated each other!" "Why did they hate each other?" "I'm not 100% sure, he told me i have to wait until i'm older." "Ugh, but he's sooo hot." I frown. Breckin's family is basically my family, which means this concerns me as well. As Kamri sits down next to me she notices i'm staring at Zach. "Go talk to him." Kamri has always giving the BEST relationship advice. I look at Breckin and she shakes her head. "Don't do it." Breckin gives me a deathly look. I stare at my ice cream, trying to make my mind up. I really want to talk to him but i know Breckin will get mad at me. "I'll be right back, i have to go to the bathroom." Breckin stands up and walks towards the bathroom.
