i look down at my phone and i see that i have several texts from my siblings and Drew is calling me.
"ashley!"
"yes?"
"guess who just showed up"
"who?"
"mom and dad! i cant believe they came back after all the shit they put us through!" i let out a long sigh.
"yes, Drew i couldn't believe it either."
"what do you mean couldn't? how long have you known they were back?"
"i just ran into them a few hours ago when i was out with Zach."
"why didn't you call me right away?!"
"i d-don't know, i guess i was shooken up a bit and i didn't think about that.."
"it's okay, i understand i guess. i just want to be here for you and we can go through this together you don't have to suffer alone anymore. we're family ashley."
"yes, i know, i'm sorry." i heard some shuffling Drew's side of the line and then i hear Molly's voice.
"ashley! you need to come home now, mom and dad are out of prison!! they want to see you!"
"are you serious? i want nothing to do with them!"
"come on ashley, they made mistakes and they want to come back to our lives."
"they ruined me Molly, they ruined our childhood. i cant forgive them."
"ashley come on, give them a chance!"
"NO! i gave them way too many chances when we were kids and it broke me. i'm never letting them hurt me again, and if you're smart you won't either!"
"are you kidding me? that was years ago, they've changed i can see it! you need to let go of all that shit because people can change."
"Molly, listen you were old enough back then to understand everything but they hurt all of us so much. i can't let anyone that toxic back into my life."
"whatever ashley, don't even bother coming home because they are staying with us for a few days."
this made all my emotions burst. i cant believe this is actually happening.
"WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL MOLLY!"
"Kerry and Traci left for Kerry's business trip today and i figures they can stay with us while they're gone."
"are you fucking mad?"
"oh my gosh Ashley! why can't you just accept that they're back and want to be with us?!"
"i'm done with all this." i end the call and Zach looks speechless.
"this is probably a stupid question but, are you okay?" tears begin to stream down my face once more and Zach gathers me into a warm hug.
"n-not really, honestly i don't blame Molly for letting them back in. a part of me wanted to, i wanted to finally have parents. but i couldn't get over everything they've done to fuck us over. Molly was so young when most of it went down she doesn't understand everything. i j-just can't stand seeing any of us get hurt again."
"oh ashley, it's going to be okay."
"i don't want to go home, if they're going to be over there. can you drive me to Kamri's?"
"of course, but you know you can stay with me too if you want." i look up into his gorgeous brown eyes.
"are you sure?"
"yes, i'm sure. plus the guys love you and they miss you." i can't help but smile, all the guys are so sweet.
"okay, that sounds good. but i don't have any clothes."
"you can steal all the hoodies you want from my closet." i smile. he knows i love stealing his hoodies. they all smell just like him and it makes me instantly feel 10% calmer when i'm in them. and they are extremely comfy!
"perfect."
when we arrive at the wdw house all the guys were sitting in the living area watching tv. they all turn as Zach and I enter the door.
"hey Ashley!" Jack runs and gives me a big hug. Jack and i have become really good friends. he's so sweet and i love his noodles.
"hey jack" i smiled against his chest as we hugged. when we separate all the other guys take turns giving me a hug. i notice Corbyn looks concerned.
"ashley, have you been crying?" all the guys turn to look at me at the same time.
shit, they must have noticed my smeared mascara...
"yes, actually, there's a lot i need to tell you guys about..."
