i sit in front of all the boys and i tell them everything about what my parents had done to me and my siblings and about what had just went down hours before.
"oh, ashley, i'm so sorry you've had to go through all that." jack walks over and gives me a warm hug.
"thanks jack, i'm doing a lot better. it's just still a lot."
"we will always be here for you Ashley." jonah walks over and hugs me as well, followed by Corbyn.
"yea, we love you."
"thanks guys, it's means a lot knowing that i have such great friends." Zach gently squeezes my thigh.
"does this call for a group hug?" corbyn stands up with his arms wide. i smile and let out a little giggle.
"i think it does." we all join together in a warm and loving hug.
Zach's pov:
i gently squeezed Ashley's thigh which i could tell eased her emotions a bit.
"does this call for a group hug? i watched as corbyn stood up and opened his arms wide. ashley smiled her beautiful smile and let out an adorable giggle.
"i think it does." all of us got up and hugged. once we all broke apart we got ready to watch a movie.
"hey guys, how about we order some pizza?"
"that sounds amazing!!" ashley smiled at the thought of pizza. she is so cute i swear.
"yo, we should get that blow up pool thingy and put it in the pool and fill it up with blankets and pillows and we can float in the pool while watching the movie on the projector!" corbyn always has the best ideas.
"omg, yes!! i did that one time with Kamri, Breckin, and Molly and it was so much fun!" i could tell ashley was super excited about this idea. seeing her so happy with all of us makes me smile. i guess she noticed me smiling at her because she gave me a weird look.
"what?"
"you're just so cute."
"aww you're the sweetest!" she wraps her arms around me and kissed my lips gently.
"get a room!!" i turn to see jonah pretending to gag.
"shut up honah!"
"come at me bro!" i run after jonah and he swerves all through the house with me chasing after him until i feel something hit me in the back. i look back and see Ashley holding a nerf gun with her hand on her hip.
"what was that for?"
"i just felt like shooting you."
"you're gonna regret that!" she giggles and i run after her. she runs into Daniel and hides behind him.
"can't get me now!" Daniel grabs her arm and pulls her into his room upstairs.
what are they doing?
a minute later they come out each with a nerf gun in both hands.
"let's get em, ash!" with that they shoot me continuously as i try to run away only to meet Jack, Jonah, and Corbyn also holding nerf guns.
"oh shit, why is everyone teaming up on me?" everyone laughs and starts pounding me with nerf bullets once more. i managed to sneak up on ashley and steal one of her guns.
"hey! why'd you steal my gun?"
"it's my turn to shoot you now."
"uh oh!" i shoot her about three times before she grabs my hand and pulls me over to a corner.
"let's team up and get the other guys."
"that sounds perfect. let's go." we sneak around the corner and meet up with the 4 other guys.
"go!" i yell and we all start shooting at each other. we were having so much fun we almost didn't hear the door bell ring.
"oh nuts, i'll get it!" ashley runs over to the door and gets the pizza. "who's hungry?" she places the pizza on the kitchen island and we all dig in. we all talked about random stuff while we ate out pizza and laughed so hard we all started crying.
life is so good right now...
