Zach's pov:
things were starting to get heated between Ashley and her dad. i watch as he gets in her face as they were yelling. i was so focused on Ashley and making sure he didn't touch her to listen to what they were saying i move my gaze to her mom to see that she was on her phone. with no care, no care that her husband and daughter were fighting. she almost looked like she was used to the yelling. i look back over at ashley just in time to witness her dad smack her directly across the face with as much power possible. she falls back and lands on the couch. thank god she didn't land on the hardwood floor. my instantly reaction was to jump i ran over to the man and used all my strength to punch him.
"what the hell?" he rebounds from my punch and throws one back. this makes me stumble back as i feel blood leaking from my lip. i look over and Ashley isn't moving, i check her pulse and luckily she's still breathing. he knocked her out.
"ashley, baby, are you okay?" nothing, she says nothing. "come on, wake up, talk to me!" at this point tears were streaming down my face i grab my phone and text the group chat.

WDW boyssss:
Zach: come to Ashley's house as fast as possible, she's hurt.
Daniel: omg, on the way!
Corbyn: I'm driving as fast as possible!
Jonah: do you need me to bring anything?
Zach: maybe some ice
Jack: i got the ice, let's go!
Zach: bring breckin
Daniel: done and done.
Zach: also, call the police. they're fucking insane.
Jack: i got you bro

i turn back towards her father and he attempts to throw another punch. i dodge it. i look over towards her mother again and she's still just sitting on her phone, with no care in the world.
"what the hell, are you doing? does this not bother you at all?" she finally looks up and smiles.
"i'm used to it, he has to get his anger out somehow."
"wow, you guys are actually fucking insane. he just knocked your daughter out and you don't even give a single shit. unbelievable!" with this the boys come running in followed by Breckin.
"where is she?" i point over the the couch and Breckin and Jack run over there with the ice. she still hasn't woken up yet.
"Zach, your lip is bleeding." Jonah looks concerned.
"yes i know." everyone looks shocked. speechless. no one knows what to do. Molly comes barging in crying.
"molly?" she notices us and wipes her face.
"w-what is everyone doing here?" i walk over to her and wrap her up in a hug she eases a bit.
"ashley and i came over so she could finally talk to your parents and things didn't go that well."
"what do you mean? where's ashley?" she sniffles.
"a fight broke out and your father knocked ashley out. she's over on that couch." she runs over and her tears come crashing down harder.
"get the hell out!" she looks over at her parents with anger in her eyes.
"come on sweetie it was an accident!"
"don't even start with that bullshit, she was right. you guys are just a bunch of crackheads. you don't love us!"
"you know she's lying!" her mother's eyes start to gather tears.
"no. just leave."
"come on molly..."
"i said leave!!" i heard the sound of sirens in the distance and within a minute the cops pull up.
"everybody place your hands where i can see them!" one officer yells and runs into the living room we were all standing in. they put handcuffs on all of us so they can get the full story. molly sniffles and looks at the officer as he was putting the cuffs on.
"you might want to check the house, they're probably storing drugs somewhere." he nods.
"thank you, miss." ashley was laying next to me. i would wrap my arms around her but that's kind of impossible with handcuffs on. her eyes start to twitch and finally they open revealing her beautiful blue eyes.
"what's going on?" she mumbles as she sits up. her eyes go wide as she notices that all of us have cuffs on and there are several officers searching the house and asking everyone what happened.

Ashley's pov:
i open my eyes and Zach was sitting next to me.
"what's going on?" i sit up and notice that everyone, including me have handcuffs on and there are police officers wandering around the house and asking everyone questions. he looks at me and i noticed blood on his face.  "oh my gosh, Zach, are you okay? who did this to you?" i want to touch him, hug him but that's really hard to do with handcuffs on. he sighs and looks over toward my dad.
fuck.
"when you guys were yelling at each other he slapped you and it knocked you out. i punched him and of course he punched back."
"oh, Zach i'm so sorry, this is all my fault."
"no, it's not, ashley don't blame this on yourself. it's okay, honestly just a scratch. what's important is that you're okay."
"did anyone else get hurt?"
"no, they got here after it all happened."
"oh, okay." i rest my head on his shoulder. soon enough the officers take our handcuffs off and escort my parents out of the house. they had found several different types of drugs with their fingerprints on the bags. also they searched their phones and saw that they were in contact with many different drug dealers and were selling drugs again as well. i'm not surprised, i knew they haven't changed one bit, but Molly is devastated. we all pinch in to help clean up the house because Traci and Kerry will be back from their trip soon. Zach pulls me aside as we were cleaning.
"how are you?" i shrug.
"i'm not surprised honestly."
"how would you feel if we get out of town for a bit. go on a trip?" i smile.
"that sounds amazing."
"it would just be us, the guys and Breckin. we can all just have fun and forget all the drama."
"that is just what i need right now."
"awesome, we booked our plane tickets for friday."
"where are we going?"
"that is a surprise."
"come on, herron."
"nope, i'm not telling you."
"aww, darn." i rest my head against his chest and smile. "thank you for everything, i love you."
"of course, baby." he wraps his arms around me. i cant wait for our surprise trip.
