Drew did not look very happy. i turn back towards Zach and blush. i then open the door and step out so i was standing by Drew.
"what the hell are you doing?" he asks sternly
"um, well..."
"ugh, ashley you guys aren't even dating!"
"well, you see he actually asked me out last night so we are dating now." he raises an eyebrow then turns toward Zach who was now out of the car and standing next to me.
"so you're telling me that you asked my sister out without my permission?"
"um technically yes, but i did ask for Traci and Kerry's approval."
"i see, but Ashley i do have one question."
"okay, Drew, what is it ?"
"where did you sleep last night?" i quickly glance over at Zach and he looks down at his shoes.
"oh, i stayed the night at Kamri's. i thought Breckin told you?"
"that's not what your snapchat location came up as." my eyes got wide and i look over at Zach and he has the same expression.
oh shit.
"oh, um." i didn't even know what to say.
"so where did you really sleep at last night?"
"ugh, fine i slept at the wdw house. but i promise i didn't do it on purpose! we were watching a movie and i fell asleep! just please don't tell Kerry." he smirks.
"oh i won't tell Kerry." i let out a deep sigh of relief.
"thank you!" i give him a hug.
"but you owe me."
"ugh fine!" i shove him. "but now if you would excuse us, i have to get changed so we can go get lunch." i grab Zach's hand and we walk inside. we go into my room and i pick out my outfit. i look into the mirror and notice that my hair is looking pretty rough.
"hey zachy, is it okay if i take a quick shower?"
"yea, of course!" i give him a quick peck on the lips.
"thanks, you can go downstairs if you want. i know Traci has been dying to talk to you. she literally loves you so much after the thing you did at Drew's graduation party!"
"that sounds good, i'll go talk to her!"
Zach's pov:
i watch as ashley walks into her bathroom to take a shower. then i walk downstairs to see Molly and Traci in the kitchen. i haven't gotten to talk to Molly much because she is always busy with her gymnastics training. when Traci notices me she smiles and greets me.
"Zach, sweetie how are you?"
"i'm really good, thanks, how are you?"
"i'm great! i heard all about your little date with ashley last night from breckin. i'm so happy you guys are dating!"
"yea, i really really like ashley and i wanted to make sure it was perfect!"
"so, i know Kerry and Drew are pretty strict when it comes to the whole staying the night at a boys house rule but honestly i don't mind that she slept over there. i trust both of you very much. you're a good kid Zach."
"thank you so much Traci, but i have a quick question."
"of course, what is it?"
"how did you know she stayed at my house last night? i thought Breckin told you guys she stayed at Kamri's" she smiles.
"oh well Breckin was going to go pick her up last night but i told her not to because i knew she would have wanted to stay over with you. i was young and wild once as well."
"oh, well thank you for letting her stay over."
"so Zach huh?" i look and see that Molly is looking at me.
"yea, you're Molly right?"
"i am, listen you kinda make my sister get all happy whenever you text her and stuff so just do me a favor and treat her right. we have all be through a lot, especially her."
"of course, i would never do anything to hurt ashley. she honestly makes me the happiest guy in the world. she's really special."
"yea she's pretty great, and she has an amazing and loving heart. i'm really happy she's found you. i missed seeing her this happy... ever since the accident she wasn't her self until she met you. now she's back to dancing and singing at random hours through the night and being her goofy and loving self. so thank you i guess for being the sunshine she needed on a rainy day." i couldn't help but smile, i didn't know i had such positive effect on this girl.
"i'm so glad i can make her happier. she deserves the world."
"aww you guys are the best!" i turn around and see Ashley standing there her cheeks clearly red from blushing and i instantly swoop her up into a big hug.
this girl...
"alright you love birds, go have fun." Traci and Molly give me and Ashley a hug as we walk back out to my car.
