Forgive Me Not

This is an elegy,
The past cries again.
Forgive me

A never ending tragedy,
Using the moments, slain.
Forgive me

From the deepest seas.
All the gallows gain.
Forgive me

For all the possible futures closed
I confess to your deaths
So write on your epitaphs
"Here lies a bright lot
Devoured by sin
Buried and forgotten."
And say you forgive me,
not.

Our decisions, whether predetermined or not, are etched on the stones of the deepest oceans once made, forever unreachable, unchangeable. So remember the past, live the present, and kill the futures you don't want lest they become the only future you have.

Forgive yourself for your past, for the future curses you.
