72 Seasons (Year 1)

Winter - 1
step.
A white blanket
slowly formed

another step.
i couldn't thaw it,
as the snow stormed

another step.
you look back
ice cold eyes

another step.
pupils black
no more tries

last steps.
and fog cloaked
your vanishing frame
as i soaked
in agonising blame.

gone.
that black silhouette
i will never forget.
down went the casket.

done
was my life.

Spring - 1
Sing goes morning dew,
Metamorphose and forget,
Reset, continue

Summer - 1
The horizon was melting,
Wolves howled during day.
Morals, hear them weeping.

Purity was originally ruling
Temptation, come what may,
The horizon was melting

Slowly but surely dripping
Desire can sway
Morals, hear them weeping

Patience runs, clock ticking.
Lust comes to foray
The horizon was melting

Succumb, succumbing.
The gluttony for flesh say,
Morals, hear them weeping

Deaf to the bushes rustling
For mind is lost to play
The horizon was melting
Morals, hear them weeping.

Autumn - 1
Again old age sings
Unto youth that hide,
Trying were their times
Under harsher lives.
Meanwhile they see
Not the beauty of the past,

For they cannot see past
Odes to their romantic pain
Longing for the suffering
Lax on the melodies of good.
Yet again they sing their faux swan song

A bit different from the usual poem a day... well now it's four for today because I do want to catch up to the 72 poems I owe (and still increasing) so I thought I'd write poems about seasons. Yes 72 seasons is gonna be challenging but I mean why not? Also these poems are still inspired from some point in my life, although not necessarily as of present. I'll still write single poems inspired by my day to day though! Anyway hope y'all enjoy! And feel free to comment any thoughts or just general readings!

Till the next "year"
