Kaneki's POV - 8th February, 2012
SHIELD HQ, New York
Training room
Its been two days since my kidnapping, i told the director about it and SHIELD went to investigate the next day only to find nothing, they didn't find any irregularities, no broken door, no bullet hole whatsoever, even the workers claim they didn't know a thing about the armed men who were guarding the place. Either they replaced all the workers or these people are very good at lying.
I told them the man in met, 'Robert' but it doesn't do much help since there's literaly hundreds if not thousands of person named Robert.
Though there's several witnesses claim they saw seven truck carrying large container left the building two hours after i escaped, destination.. Unknown. SHIELD also investigated that secret room back at the docks, they didn't found anything worth mentioning but the 'torture room' had piqued their interests, the place in the sewer where i was beaten like a ragdoll was also some interest to them.
Right now i'm at the training room, resuming my daily routine of agent training or whatever. We're just finishing up when Natasha came in, carrying a metal case
"You aim seems better" She commented, looking at the dummy with hole at the head
"What can i say.. I got good teacher"
Clint's smug face is a bit irritating though
"Anyway, remember what Clint texted you the other day?" Natasha queries
"About the investigation being called off? Yeah i've heard, Agent Coulson told me yesterday."
"Yes.. That and we got something to show you" Natasha placed the case on the table
"What's that?"
"Its your new body suit, designed by R&D based on the one you're wearing. With some improvement" Natasha explained while taking it out
"Here, try it" she handed it to me and shoves me to the changing room
Took me a while to wear it, it looks like the suit other agent are wearing except mine got more ghoulish design. Its a bit tighter than my old one.
"How do i look?" I asked after stepping out of the room
"Perfect fit i guess" Clint commented
"The suit are made of very elastic and strong material so it won't ripped easily, it will act like a second skin. The suit also able to withstand extreme heat and will protect you from fire" Natasha explained
"This thing are fireproof? Awesome!" I twirled a bit just to see how it looks
"A question though, why does that thing got a hole in the back?" Clint inquired
Right, the big hole in my kakuhou area. When i heard they were designing a suit for me, i requested for that hole to be made just like in my old ones, they were confused at my requesy but didn't ask any question.
"Its for my kagune" i answered
"Your what?" Clint and Natasha are clearly lost at hearing that word
"Its uhm.. How do i explain this. Uhh... Guess i'll have to show you"
Four dark red rinkaku emerged from my back, swinging behind me as those two were taken aback.
"Kaneki..... Is that.. A tentacle?" Clint are clearly lost for word
"Uhh no.. Well yes, not really. Uhm, you see a kagune's strength relies on the quality of the RC cells while the shape and size depends on the creativity of the ghoul's mind" i elaborate
