Third Person P.O.V
Jack frowned as he stared at he collection of skirts he hasn't worn once hanging in his closet. He always liked to buy them, but he didn't dare wear them. Not with the judgmental people in his town.
He ended up grabbing a plain white shirt and blue jeans. He threw it on and stared at his watch. 8:45. He decided it was time to head to Noah's house so they wouldn't be late to Finns party.
He walked down the stairs and sighed as he stared at his worn down shoes. It's so embarrassing that he has to wear these pieces of shit but it's better than nothing.
"You heading out kiddo?" His father asked as he walked towards Jack. Jack tensed up as he did so.
"Y-Yeah. I'll be home early in the morning I have Algebra homework." I said.
"Ah. Well, have fun at your friends house, and remember... Don't let him touch you." Jack's dad whispered and put his hands around Jack's waist, pulling him to him right before kissing him on the forehead.
Fucking creep.
Jack thought to himself as he stood there wide eyed just waiting for his father to let go of his body. His dad did so, but slowly.
"See you later, kiddo. I love you." He whispered and Jack rushed out the door. He walked to Noah's house while whistling 'Six Different Ways' by The Cure.
"Hey you're here!" Noah excalimed. Noah started walking towards Jack with his arms wide open to hug him. Jack took a large step back and closed his eyes tightly and extended his open hand out as if to say no.
"Dont." Jack said.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Noah said and held his hands up. Jack opened his eyes slowly and let out a sigh of relief now that there wasn't a person trying to hug him or touch him in any way at all.
Jack isn't ready for that. He doesn't want someone touching him unless he truly trusts them and at the moment he trusts absolutely no one.
Well, I guess you could say he kind of trusts Noah. I mean, he's currently walking with him in the dark to Finn Wolfhards house.
Jack has never hungout with someone alone before, so he doesn't really know how to socialize too well.
"Umm... I'm sorry for what happened a minute ago in your driveway." Jack said as he kicked a rock that he came upon.
"Don't worry about it, it's fine you don't have to apoligize. I get it." Noah said with a shrug as they got closer to Finns house.
"What do you mean you get it?" Jack asked in fear of him actually knowing why he acted the way he did when Noah tried to hug him.
"Well, we all have our things. I dont like when people rub forks on glass plates, and you dont like when people hug you." Noah said.
"Y-Yeah." Jack said quietly as he stared at the ground. It wouldn't be called lying if someone said Jack regretted agreeing to come tonight. He's just glad he's away from his dad.
"Ah, here we are." Noah said as the got onto Finns driveway. Noah reached for the handle, but Jack stopped him from opening it.
"Aren't you going to knock!?" Jack exclaimed.
Sure the boy doesn't know much but if there's one thing he does know it's common educate.
"Me and Finn are friends Jack it's not a big deal." Noah said and reached for the handle again.
"I've never been here before! It wouldn't be proper for me to just walk into his house." Jack said.
"Jack, please calm down. It really doesn't matter. If anything Finn would probably think it's lame if we knocked on the door." Noah said and he was right too. Finn would find it incredibly lame... but he wouldn't care to much if it was Jack.
