Chapter 18: Splattered IV

Jack's P.O.V

"I just want to ask you a few questions. Is that okay?" The doctor asked as he sat down next to my hospital bed. "Y-Yes sir." I said quietly. "Jack, why did you do this?" He asked. "I just wanted to end it." I said and looked onto his eyes. "Why?" He asked again and I looked away from him. "I can't make you tell me but just know I care." He said.

"Where's my dad?" I asked. "We tried calling him multiple times. The house phone and his personal cell. We were told by a boy outside that he doesn't have a job so there is no company that we could call. I'm sorry, but we do have to keep you here tonight. You can call a friend if you'd like." The doctor said.

"I don't have any..." I said. "What about that curly headed boy? He really cares ai can tell. I don't want to bother you about it because of what you told me to tell him but he was heartbroken and I could tell. He waited the whole time and he's the one that found you to. He told me he went to your house to check on you and found you in the bath. You're very lucky." He said.

"There was a reason I did it you know. So I wouldn't have to be here anymore. So no I'm not lucky." I said. "Well, just buzz me if you need anything, okay? A nurse should be in here to check your IVs soon. We grabbed your phone for you too by the way it's in your pocket, just be careful not to bust your wrist." He said and walked out after pumping some hand sanitizer into the palm of his hand.

I pulled my phone out and played with it. I need to talk to Finn.

Jack: Finn.

Finn: Oh god Jack you shouldn't be texting me I'm a terrible fucking boyfriend. Im so glad you're okay though. I was really worried about you.

Jack: Yeah right. Thanks for ruining my life dick head.

Finn: I was so scared. I entered your house and you were just there in the tub and it broke me seeing you like that. I'm so so so sooo sorry sweet pea

Jack: I love you and you broke my heart.

Finn: Let me put it back together... Baby I love you too.

Jack: No. I think I need to break up with you. You were a mistake. I should've never trusted you... You don't even understand what you've done to me.

Finn: Jack please don't...

I felt tears in my eyes as I clicked the block button. I love that stupid idiot but my heart is so hurt I can't take it right now.

Jack: Are you busy?

Noah: Jack! I heard what happened oh god are you okay buddy?

Jack: My wrists hurt so bad...

Noah: What do you need?

Jack: Will you come stay the hospital night with me? I know you have that party today and everything but... please I don't wanna be here alone anymore...

Noah: Of course I will! I'll cancel the party. You're way more important than that. I'm going to leave my house right now. I'll see you soon, okay?

Jack: Thank you so much.

Noah: Don't mention it! <3

*35 minutes later*

"Hey there Jackie." Noah said as he strolled into the room. "Hey. It's so good to see you." I said with a smile. "Awh, you too. I hope you're feeling better." He said as he sat down at the end of the bed. "I am now that your here." I said quietly. "Jack... I need to tell you something." He said. "What is it, Noah?" I asked.
