Jack's P.O.V

I have all the materials I need in a shopping basket so I set it on the ground. I hope I didn't get too much stuff. I've been over here alone for awhile. I decided to check my phone since Finn still hasn't came back yet.

Noah: Hey, are you coming to my Halloween party?

Jack: Oh, I didn't know you were hosting it. Yeah I'm coming.

Noah: Awesome! Can't wait to see you there <3

Jack: Yeah, you too.

Why did he send me a heart? God, things are just so complicated for me. I can't believe Finn tried to make a move on me. I really like him but I'm way to nervous to do that with Finn. I know I'm going to be sixteen soon but... It's scary to think about. I could say I know what it's like because of my dad but... I don't. All I know is he just hurt me.

He hurt me so bad and I never want to feel that pain ever again. Finn wouldn't hurt me though, right? "Jack hey! Sorry it took me so long." He said and walked up next to me with a bag in his hand. "What did you get?" I asked and rose a brow. "Nothing much just some stuff." He shrugged and I decided to ignore it. It's probably none of my business anyways

"Ready to check out?" He asked. "Yeah. I hope it's not to much stuff." I said and he picked up the small basket. "If anything you could've gotten more." He said with a smile and we walked to the front of the store. We went to the self check out and our total was 24.36. I feel really bad, I almost spent have of his money...

"I'm sorry. I got to much stuff." I said as we walked to the car. "You really didn't. I told you don't worry about it, honestly." He said but I still feel bad. I can't help it. "You wanna go back to my house? We don't have to. I can drop you off at home if you want." He said as we left the store parking lot.

"I want to go back to your house. I'm kind of dreading going home, though. I hope my dad isn't going to be mad at me. I actually am curious if he even noticed." I said. I'm actually far passed nervous. I'm terrified of going home. I don't want to leave Finn either. "Okay." He replied.

"Sooo, Jack do you want to go on another date with me? We can try something new and go out to eat and watch a movie. Only if you want though." He said. "When?" I asked. "Uhh, Wednesday." He said. What the fuck? Wednesday? Why Wednesday? That's the weirdest day to have a date in the world.

"Umm, sure." I said. "Cool we can just go right after school. I mean we don't have school Thursday or Friday so it will feel like a Friday you know?" Finn said as we parked in his driveway. "Here let me get everything out of the back." He said and I climbed out of the car. He grabbed all of my bags along with his own and we headed inside.

"Where did your mom go?" I asked. "Well she doesn't work on Sundays so I have clue where she went but I'm sure she texted me. I haven't been on my phone." He shrugged and we walked up to his room. He placed my bags on the floor and he put his bag into his drawer. I wonder what he's got in there.

"Ready to get started on this?" He asked and sat down across from me, leaving space for us to work. "Y-Yeah." I said and we began. I decided on doing New York City while I was at the store because it seemed pretty easy. "Oh, hey didn't you say this is due Friday? Your teachers an idiot we don't have school Friday." Finn laughed. "Next Monday then." I said with a smile.

We worked on the project all day actually. He insisted on getting done today so I didn't have to worry about it over the weekend. "Jack, I'm telling you I can drive you hime." Finn said and hugged me tightly. "I know I know. I don't live that far it will literally take me two minutes to walk there." I said and Finn walked over his closet and threw a white Quewn hoodie at me.
