Chapter 29: Messy Anxiety

Third person P.O.V

A lot can happen in four months.

What are those things though?

It's finally summer and Finn got a job at the coffee shop. Since he had the money, he got an apartment and he shares with Jack.

Jack is.. different to say the least. He is forcing himself to act happy when he honestly isn't.

He's stuck at home all day while Finns at work. He really wants to get a job. Finn has been encouraging Jack to get a job.

He doesn't care where Jack works. He would just like to have some help paying for the apartment.

The reason Jack hasnt gotten a job yet is because of his anxiety. It's gotten so so much worse than it used to be. Jack continued to get bullied throughout the rest of the school year.

Finn didn't really notice the bullying. As sad as this may sound, he became better friends with Wyatt.

Wyatt is still a dick, but he's definitely changed.

Everyone has changed.

Everyone.

Jaeden still stands by what he had said about Finn. That he's fake. Wyatt and Jaeden are still together but there relationship is very unhealthy.

So is Finn and Jacks.

Finn and Jack's relationship consists of a lot of crying, arguing, sex, and cuddling.

Considering Finn isn't with Jack half if the time, it sounds pretty bad. Jack trys so hard to act like Finn is there.

He hates being away from Finn. He's developed separation anxiety while dating him, and its not hard to see why. Jack hasn't had someone care about him and he's scared that somethings going to happen to him if Finn isn't around.

Currently, Jack is asleep on the bed in their small apartment and Finn is already at work.

"Finnie?" Jack said as he opened his eyes. He started tearing up because Finn wasn't by his side like he was last night.

He grabbed his phone off the charger and called Finn immediately.

Finn felt his phone vibrating in his pocket whole he took a customers order. He knew it was jack and he sighed as he stuck his hand in his pocket. He clicked it off and continued talking to the customer.

He would call Jack back later. He knew it wasnt an emergency. He knew Jack was just freaking out because he wasnt home at the moment.

Finn has came to the conclusion that having a boyfriend so attached to you is tiring. He kind of enjoys being at work because he gets a little break from Jack.

Jack would be heart broken if he knew Finn liked going to work. Finn plays it off as he doesnt. Finn doesnt want to hurt Jack's feelings, he just enjoys having some time to himself.

"You're home!" Jack squealed and ran to Finn as he was walking through the door. Finn quickly dropped his things and shut the door behind him. Finn opened his arms and Jack jumped into them.

"I missed you so so much!" Jack exclaimed and wrapped his arms and legs around Finn. Finn smiled even though he was sad. Jack acts like he hasn't seen him in weeks.

"I missed you too baby boy." Finn kissed Jack's forehead. Jack giggled and hugged Finn tighter. "You don't have work tomorrow so we can spend all day together!" Jack smiled widely.

"Yeah bubba." Finn blushed and set Jack down.
"What are you doing?" Jack reached for Finns hand. Finn held Jack's hand for a brief moment and let go.
