Kenna stepped cautiously into the compound, people began to swarm around her treading slowly. She instantly recognised them as vampires and knits her eyebrows watching their hungry faces.

"Haven't you guys been taught manners?" She spoke analysing their faces as dark veins grew below the creatures eyes.

"Maybe your daddy needs to teach you not disrespect vampires" a bigger built man hissed walking up to Kenna flashing his fangs, he was confused when the small witch didn't get scared but only laughed in response.

"My 'daddy' is dead, I killed him." Kenna confesses, the vampire looked between shocked and impressed at her confession "But by all means, please do carry on. Things were just starting to get interesting." Kenna smirks folding her arms.

"Makena! My apologies..." Marcels voice could be heard throughout the compound, she looked up to be met with his dark brown eyes, "guys, show the lady a little respect, shes a guest as well as an ally."

The vampires backed away from the young witch as Marcel vamp sped in front of her, "thank you for coming Makena I just thought since your one of us now you're always welcome to... hang out." He spoke softer and quieter as they both walked up the stairs.

"So what exactly are we doing?" Kenna rose an eyebrow looking over the balcony at compound, there was easily every vampire in New Orleans standing around laughing and making small talk. A small smirk formed on Kenna's lips impressed by the amount of loyalty Marcel had gained.

"Every vampire in this compound wants one thing Kenna" he began, "to walk in the sun" he smirked catching Makena's attention, everyone watched expectantly waiting for Marcel to speak.

"They're all night walkers" Makena spoke crossing her arms as she looked up at the moon, Marcel clears his throat before placing both of his hands on the balcony.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Fight Night!" Marcel announces, all the vampires cheer and clap loudly. Marcel laughs nodding as he opens his arms wide.

"And the first rule of Fight Night is, the vampire left standing at the end of the night is one step closer to the inner circle and... one of these" Marcel explains, holding up his hand showing off his ring.

Kenna watched as everyone cheered before focusing her attention on Marcel, "yes, a daylight ring. If you can impress me with a little ultra-violence, you too can enjoy the warmth of the sun on your face. All you got to do is kick a little ass."

Marcel glances at Makena for a second before shifting back to his audience, a huge grin spread across his face "Here we go!"

Kenna watched in fascination as the vampires formed a circle waiting for an announcement, she assumed he chose who got to fight.

"Our first two contenders..." he announced, "Kenna, would you do the honours?"

Makena's eyes widen slightly as she eyed up everyone below, she wasn't familiar with everyone but Marcel had introduced her to a couple of the newbies before.

"Uh, Felicia and Otto!" Kenna called watching the two vampires stand forward, "have at it!"

Both vampires wasted no time as Otto struck Felicia across the face, Kenna watched the scene unravel, Otto did look very muscular she winced as he hit the poor girl but Felicia definitely gave as good as she got kicking him and throwing him to the ground.

Kenna turned to Marcel who was laughing and instantly joined in, she couldn't help but enjoy the scene, "I recall you loving violence, even as a young girl" Marcel smirked watching the fascinated girl, "remember when you were in middle school and you beat that girl to a pulp for hating your hair style? The witches had no clue how to handle you... but we did"

"The witches always said I was a troubled little girl, it was hard growing up without parents you guys really helped me you know? I guess all that built up anger towards my dad and the world manifested itself in many ways" Kenna hummed in agreement.

It all seemed so long ago now, all the times Kenna ran to the compound crying after being yelled at by the witches. Marcel and the other vampires would often let her run wild to get out her aggression. Whether that be kicking and punching Marcel or training in fencing and boxing. The compound was her safe haven where she wouldn't have to worry about getting angry and accidentally siphoning some teenage bitch witch.

"Jeez! You go girl..." Kenna laughed, as she snapped Otto's neck.

Felicia stood triumphantly towards Marcel as everyone clapped, "woo damn girl! Not bad!" He called.

Her praise was cut short by the snap of her neck, Kenna gasped covering her mouth. The whole room fell silent. "Klaus..." she whispered, Marcel glared venomously at Klaus as everyone whispered among themselves.

"Good evening" Klaus announced smirking devilishly, "I'd like a word" his eyes wandered around the room stopping at Kenna, his smirk grew a little bigger as did Kenna's glare.

"What do you think you're doing Klaus?" Kenna questions unfolding her arms and placing them on the balcony. Marcel noticed her hand glow orange as she slowly siphoned magic from the compound, he placed a hand on her and shook his head slightly.

"It appears that we've interrupted a collection of filthy amateurs!" Elijah's voice could be heard as he slowly walks into view, "we've come here for the girl. Give her to us, or we kill everyone here... starting with you." He threatens, locking eyes with Marcel.

Kenna rolls her eyes, laughing slightly, "get off your high horse Elijah, Hayley, isn't here" her jaw clenches slightly making eye contact with both Mikaelson's.

"You two got a lot of nerve, coming into my home and making demands." Marcel said lowly taking a small step in front of Makena. Klaus chuckles lowly, shaking his head.

"Your home is it?" He questions, sarcasm dripping of his tongue, he couldn't give Kenna a glare as much as he wanted to remain threatening.

Every-time he saw her doe brown eyes, his cold dead heart melted slightly.

"The girl! I will not ask again." Elijah barked at the vampire and witch.

"Hayley? Yea high, dark hair, bitchy attitude?" He began, "Who is she, anyway?" Marcel interrogated the originals.

"She's an old friend. You know how sentimental I am about old friends." Klaus tilted his head smirking at Marcel, "Makena I'm shocked to see you on the opposing side being Hayley's protector and all"

"Protecting your baby mama stopped the moment you signed my death sentence" Kenna growled, she felt awful inside. She knew Hayley wasn't here because she couldn't feel her presence and that only worried her more.

Klaus' smile fell hearing Kenna's remark, he tried his best to hide his guilt struck face.

"Well, I ain't got her. And before you start whining, I did pay her a little visit earlier tonight. I was feeling nostalgic, so I took a trip out to the plantation where I used to be a slave. And, imagine my surprise when I realized that the Original family of vampires had taken up residence." Marcel spoke harshly, Kenna felt sympathy for the vampire and gave him a sorry look.

"Your girl, Hayley, answered the door, we exchanged hellos, that was it. You don't believe me? Look around. Hell, I'll even help you find her. But the question that I'd ask is: if Hayley isn't here, then where is she?" Marcel narrowed his eyes on the originals, Kenna shifted uncomfortably at the death like silence looming in the air.
