"Wake up!" A deep voice yelled before jumping onto me, on my bed.

My dads voice.

"Ow! Dad!" I exclaimed.

"Mornin' superstar." He said before getting off of me, then pulling the covers off.

I groaned,

"Stop it. Let me sleep."

"No sleeping. Come on, we've got to talk." He said, sitting down at the bottom of my bed.

"What about?" I asked, sitting up lazily.

"You graduate tomorrow!" He exclaimed.

I smiled,

"Hell yeah I am."

He chuckled,

"What university are you planning to go to?"

I sighed and stood up. And walked over to my closet-to where I put my acceptance letters.

I grabbed them and sat back down where I was before.

He took them out of my hand,

"All of these schools? You're not worried about money, are you? 'Cause me and your mother are paying."

I nodded,

"Yeah... I know."

I wasn't about to argue. As kids, me and Noah were always so excited for college that we would put any money that we earned or received in our piggy banks-so we would be able to go. Our parents found them and lectured us on how parents are supposed to pay for kids to go to college.

He went through the papers,

"Stanford... wow."

"Yeah..." I trailed off.

"You gonna go there?" He asked me, raising his eyebrows.

I sighed once again,

"Everyone here got into Michigan and Arizona. I don't want to leave them."

"You've always put others first, Katie. Think about your future for a minute, here." He told me.

"Dad, I want my future to have the people I love in it." I stated.

He put his hand on my shoulder,

"What do you want to do for a job?"

"I think I want to get my doctorate and go into psychology." I replied.

He smiled,

"Both Michigan and Stanford are good for that. Arizona, not so much."

I smiled,

"How'd you know Arizona wasn't my first pick?"

He shrugged,

"I know you."

I sighed once again, but this time with a smile,

"I don't know what to do."

"Stanford has good academics and athletics. Michigan has the same. The only difference is who will and won't be there." He said to me.

That actually just made so much sense...

"I don't want to leave this house either..." I trailed off.

"Then what's the long process about?" He asked.

He doesn't know about Hunter... and who knows what school he's going to...

I grabbed my phone off of my bedside table and handed it to my dad,

"Turn it on."

He did as I asked and stared blankly at my screen,
